Fade "public" teams starting mostly backups/minor leaguers, there will be spots where the Astros for example will field most of their starters as a dog vs the Yankees backups.
Since you (hopefully) can find out the 5 or so pitchers who will play, play on the teams who will be using their veteran relievers, after 5 innings or so most of the starters are pulled and they should burn thru the backups, on the flip side you might find some AA guys scheduled to get a inning in, there's a good chance they will sh*t themself.
You'll see some crazy line movement on some games just before 1st pitch, some betters will roll with the dogs blindy hitting 50% of their wagers collecting the juice.
That being said mlb.com game notes wasn't on the ball with the days pitchers lineups last year, if https://www.ajsplays.com/ doesn't provide that info this year we're pretty much f*cked, unless of coarse you know the right twitter accounts to follow which I don't.

I like to follow the top win streak and loss Streak teams after the first week of ST as i find a lot of teams go on long win streaks due to their hitting and Pitching although no body rarely plays the entire game or at least finish game until near the end of ST and games can get called early due to many things
I have records of last 3/4 years of ST for all teams so i usually look to see who did the best over the last few years although i know a new year but managers usually go in same direction and you do see a standard in game flow as how manager runs his trials of players and pitchers
last year Kansas City had 10 game win streak so i will be watching them
Seattle lost its first game and then went on a 9-0 win streak
Cinn had a 1-8 loss streak in their first 9 games
Not saying all these teams will repeat but some will as they always do
In 2012 Toronto went on an 18 game win streak
Seattle went on a 6-1 win streak its first 7 games
Oakland had a 7-0 win streak but was at mid season in ST
If you can catch these win and loss streak teams early you can usually get a good start into season with a nice bank roll

It is a little more work but you can usually find the pitchers for the games from the teams local newspaper beat writer. Some won't/don't provide it but many do. Just search and find and then bookmark the newspaper and you will always have it. Plus reading these guys can sometimes be helpful in giving ideas on who and what to look for or at during spring training.

one additional note Royals not only with that 10 game win streak they also closed out ST last year with a 8-0 win streak so they did not lose many games last year in St as you can see

I don't hold much stock in Starters as they rarely pitch more than 2 innings in the early part of ST.yes the increase as ST continues but early in season its 2 inn and their out of there

Totally agree. I generally don't play much spring training but when I do I like to know who the scheduled guys are behind the starters. If Team is using another major league starter and a mostly major league pen and Team B is using lower level minor league guys they brought along on the road trip I want to know this. Good stuff you are posting.

ST is not a norm game as managers have a chance to try out various players in different roles and this is their only time to do things they normally would not do in a seasonal game so this opens up all types of trials and that is what ST is all about
Find the streaking win teams hitting the ball and you will have a winner that day as well as fading teams not hitting
I can Guarantee they will be there,as i have the past 4 years for back up

Just monitor the runs scored vs runs allowed and your eyes will light up over differences as days follow during spring training,Forget the Starters and who follows as its all about who is hitting and who isn't
Texas scored 199 runs last year in ST but allowed 130 The best of all AL teams but only won 12 games and lost 12 games
Royals on other hand scored 183 runs and allowed just 96 and won 21 games and lost just 3 games
there's money to be made in ST but you must follow teams that are HOT

Yes I have read your threads in the past, you have my respect for what it's worth lol. No doubt you do homework and really have a hold of ST. I may just tag along for a little to try and make a buck or two while I do my thing. I have primarily just used the Spring Games to watch players and prospects and for clues on who may perform better or worse than projections. I throw a half unit here or there if I really feel like I have an advantage but most days do nothing.
