After hitting rock bottom at -40 units I've won almost 10 units in the last four days. Yesterday's extra inning loss by the Brewers turned a +10 unit night into a +3.5 unit night but I'll take it.
Mets -127 (1 unit)
FADE PUCKU...especially after he posted his ranking in picking Mets games. I liked them anyway but this pushed me to take them. Sorry PUCK I'm sure you're a good guy and all but I gotta do it.
Blue Jays +109 (1 unit)
Since a brutal 10-21 start to the season, the Jays have gone 20-15. They're slowly but surely coming around. Right now they're playing some very good baseball. The Rangers bats are ice cold right now and have not been the same team without Kinsler. I'll take the hotter team with the pitching advantage at plus money. I think R.A. will step up to the plate and keep the winning streak going.
Giants +178 (1 unit)
This line is hilarious. These are two teams that are pretty equal. Since their scorching start the Braves haven't even been that great. Right now they're really scuffling. There's no doubt that Minor is a stud but this is a joke. Gaudin has done a solid job when called upon and the Giants bats are red hot right now.
Brewers +156 (1 unit)
I understand there's no Braun but this is another inflated line. The Brewers are better than their record and I think this will be a very close series that will come down to the rubber match. Gallardo's xFIP is 1 run lower than his ERA. Homer Bailey's had a solid season but I see the Brewers taking this one.
Royals/Rays UNDER 7.5 (1 unit)
I like the value on the Royals but I prefer the under in today's game. Alex Cobb is the best the Rays have to offer and I think he'll bounce back from a poor showing against Boston. The Royals really struggle against righties and I think Cobb will shut them down in this one.
Mariners/Athletics UNDER 6.5 (1 unit)
This has the look of an under series. The M's bats are ice cold and the A's unders at home have really been hitting lately. Felix has owned the A's in his career.
