I don't think so.
My opinion? This should be more like a -125 to the Dbacks.
Cahill is a good pitcher, despite is W-L of 3-4. WHIP. 1.17. ERA. 2.48. ERA+ 160. His losses and no decisions are near misses, with low totals or minimal run support.
We know the Dbacks can give a lefty a workout....
De La Rosa, with sharper 5-3 record, also has a 1.29 WHIP, a 3.58 ERA, 127 ERA+, and, more often than not, a 2 run lead.
Tulowitski is doubtful.
Not to mention, Cahill is 25. De La Rosa is 32. And if pitch counts start getting up there, it could get messy for De La Rosa
Don't get me wrong, I think the Rockies are a good team, and betting their Moneyline, as well as ML + Over parlays have been good to me, I just think this seems off.
I'm not going to quote vs. stats for this year. The sample size is two games for both De La Rosa and Cahill. And both of them are 1-1 thus far against the opposing team.
Go ahead and discuss. I haven't placed money on this... yet.
