today's action: pound the D-Backs on the RL

yesterdays LOSS was a blessing for todays RL WIN- blowing a 5 run "home field" lead to the Pirates, doesn't cut the grain in Gibby's clubhouse. Look for a solid performance today by SP Miley- Pirates SP Sanchez is minor league material-

ARI Diamondbacks RL -1.5 +110

Pirates are 6-73 hitting lefties starters this seasons. DBacks have pretty good BP and just can't be swept by the Pirates at home. Miley has been one of the best if not the best pitcher for them last season and I see Dbacks bouncing back here.

KCsFinest829 14-12 +314

DET Tigers -1.5 +150

Detroit very familiar with Buehrle's stuff and although he generally is pretty good against Miggy, Cabrera is just too hot right now. This team is batting really well as there 2-3-4 hitters went 9-13 with 2 walks yesterday.

Over 9 DET Tigers - TOR Bluejays -115

On top of what I stated above, the BJays have allowed more runs than any other team in the majors at 5.67/game. I expect Detroit to put up most of this total in something like an 8-3 game.

NY Yankees ML -101

These yankees bats are really heating up. I've been analyzing teams that win by 8+ runs and how they fare in their next matchup with a few factors involved. I'm not done, but there is a decent trend developing and with these odds I can't help but jump on it.

greengiants 11-14 -198$

Over 8.5 STL Cardinals - CIN Reds -112

Bailey has typically struggled in his career in the day and at busch stadium.westbrook is sometimes good, sometimes horrible.I like both offenses to score some runs today off these pitchers.

ARI Diamondbacks -1.5 +111

I don't believe the pirates sweep, especially with Miley on the mound.

Under 7.5 SEA Mariners - HOU Astros -106

Fading both offenses after that explosion of runs yesterday.

Best of luck to everyone today!

AshyLarryMP 12-13-1 -$258:

ARZ Diamondbacks -1.5 +115

SF Giants ML -133

PHI Phillies ML -130

diamondbacks should be obvious, unless miley gets ripped.. jonathon sanchez is terrible, he doesn't even know where his pitches will end up.

giants, i will continue to fade rockies vs lefties.. 15-35 last year vs lefties, got shut down by bumgarner 2 nights ago.. zito has great lifetime #'s vs COL.. scared about the sweep game, but feel this is going to be a great year for zito all year, said it before season started, he's going to prove he's not the worst pitcher on their staff, that title belongs to lincecum.

phillies is a play against jeremy hefner.. phillies should be able to put up some runs today, never a fan of him, and do like kyle kendrick  this year, bad first start but i see a bounceback 7ip 3er. and phils get the home W

ARI Dbacks -183
SEA Mariners -169
MIL Brewers -115

Everyone explain why Arizona, loosing 2 in a row at home vs the Pirates, don't think in 3 in a row.

Mariners, fading the Astros pitcher, plus the Mariners have a netter lineup than the Astros.

Brewers, like Loshe a lot, He have great numbers against the Cubs in his life, plus he is against Feldman.

Musicmatt1  18-8  +868$

WAS Nationals  ML  -162

WAS Nationals  TT  Over 4  -116

PHI Phillies  ML  -130

Washington worked through the White Sox bull pen last night.  I like the way they manufacture runs this year.  I think the "manufacturing" of runs is something we should watch and could contribute to the high paying rosters struggles so far.  The Angels failed epically at this last night and lost the game.  When there are so many ego's, who lays down the bunt?  The Nationals have already figured out the answer to this question, giving them a leg up.  So I also like the National ML as well.

I like the Phillies to carry the momentum to win their last home game before heading to Miami.  Their bats woke up last night and they face a worse pitcher today.  Also, Lee going 8 innings last night gave their pen a much needed break.  I do expect Kendrick to bounce back and as long as he goes somewhere around 7 innings, this win should be safe.

Ha ha, almost same exact thoughts on the Phillies today.  With the exception, I do not like the sound of the 3 earned runs for Kendrick, lol. I think what we both agree on is, we are scared to hand the ball over to the bull pen.

Great picks today, but I thought you liked Lincecum?

i do like lincecum lol.. love the guy, hes a 2x cy young award winner, helped us win 2 world series, in 2 different ways.. love the guy! just speaking reality lol.. my knock on him being the worst pitcher is more of praise to zito.. lincecum is the worst pitcher on the best staff in baseball and would be the ace on some teams still, but with bumgarner, cain (cream of the crop), vogelsong been mad consistent last 2 years, and then zito and lincecum lol. and zito turned the corner last year man, he was huge down the stretch for us and his confidence built back up, like a new guy... i PRAY lincecum returns to his old self, that way we'd be a serious force all 5 days

good luck today though matt, love the nats team over pick! but more importantly yes go phillies! .. phillies dont score 5+ it'd be a disappointment, gotta hit hefner.

BTW, didn't take the Over in Boston because team totals are set at:

Red Sox 4.5
Orioles 4
Total 8.5?

I'm not sure if that means something, but it is something I will watch.

Sorry, I meant that the TT's = 8.5, not the O/U of 9... That is only true of 3 games today. They normally add up correctly. Any thoughts?

nah, to be honest man, i use betonline.. and every single one of the TT's don't equal up to the o/u. they'are all .5 runs off phi 4 nym 4 o/u 8.5,
ATL 4 Mia 3 o/u 7.5.   the redsox game, royals 4 twins 3.5 TT 8.5.. oak 4 laa 4 TT 8.5.. SEA 4 hou 3 o.u 7.5   la/sd and wash/chw add up correctly..
royals/twins game is 1 whole run off.. dono what this means either man, but my book has them all way off.. could be value.

Ok. We had our share of spanking by MLB but today as any day begins with 0-0. So, all the winning streaks are over (the last was SimonDogs no losing day streak ), and now we will end a losing streak of 3 days overall. GL
