#1 Posted: 1/22/2013 2:08:22 AM Moving forward in honor of Semperfi and McShady, we strive to keep our heads above water! Thanks to all who post, follow, lurk and most of all for keeping it positive!
A special thanks to those who are maintaining the spreadsheets. Your information and effort is very much appreciated. I will update the links on Tuesday as it is late tonight and I am not feeling well. I hope it's not the flu!

#4 Posted: 1/22/2013 2:58:05 AM QBUN, I know you are a Lakers fan, but they are a mess right now and I'm pretty sure fading them with 3 game chase is profitable. Check it out!

#6 Posted: 1/22/2013 3:03:20 AM Will try go get some sleep tonight, not feeling sleepy at all with all these cold meds. Will take a shot of Nyquil. Be back after noon central with any updates on new NBA chases if any.
I am still going to fade the LA Kings as long as they are favored. I haven't checked the schedule yet. Will update when I find out next game, line, etc. Goodnight to all!

#7 Posted: 1/22/2013 3:04:57 AM One more thing, if anyone has figured out a system to fade or play covers consensus or team experts, etc. I'd like to hear it. I haven't checked that info in forever.

#8 Posted: 1/22/2013 12:04:15 PM Angle, thanks for starting the thread. I need to update my SS's. Just too many to track.
Just for fun, I put a tiny wager on Chicago and the under parlay.
I did fade chase WASH for 3 games, all losers. Portland really sucks.
Missed the under of the day. too busy at work. Not sure I would have played it at 172. I am not playing the Over of the day, too inconsistant right now.
The only cold medicine I take is Psuedofed (?) from behind the pharmacist's counter. Those little red pills dry me out and prevent it from going in my throat. |

#9 Posted: 1/22/2013 12:49:19 PM OKC played an OT game on 01/18 vs. Dallas. Then played an OT game against Denver (covered) on 01/20. Now playing LAC who just lost to GSW last night.
Clippers opened -2, now OKC -1. I'm taking LAC at home +1. I think the line moved bec. Chris Paul had a lousy game and may not start. They play just as well without him. Look at their last road trip without him.

#10 Posted: 1/22/2013 1:23:07 PM LAC bench got a reality check last night vs GSW.
The reason why LAC is so good is because their bench production is very well above average, Barnes and JC shooting lights out off the bench.
CP3 cant defend on the final 2 mins because of his injury, he limped around the court and facing westbrook, thats a trouble. Bledsoe isn't a solution to face Westbrook either.
i like OKC here. My only concerns is Westbrook going brick or keep trying to take shots and not passing it to other which could easily kills momentum on the match. |

#11 Posted: 1/22/2013 1:27:15 PM also liking Milwaukee, philly got schooled hard last night, they went missing on final 5 mins of the match attending "How to Close a Game" class lectured by Spurs.
Bucks has been my bucks making team so i ride with them, should be a blow out, bucks by 15.
other leans : cavs+4, thompson and zeller statement match to prove that they could replace presence of varejao, also they got reinforcement on the bench from their latest trade. Speights should be playing starter minutes on bad teams with crap PF, while Ellington is money from behind the arc.
magic+5, they got the magic on em |

#12 Posted: 1/22/2013 1:40:20 PM *NO NBA CHASE PLAYS FOR TUESDAY*
Under of the day now on 24-11 run. Over of the day on 4-7-1. I have been playing the under.
Here's some info on a play that I am thinking about, I just got started so I'll throw it out there and see what else I find later.
Cleveland +5
The Cavs are showing us some solid value, as they host the Boston Celtics tonight. Cleveland doesn't have the wins to show it, but they've stepped up their game of late. It shows at the betting window, where they've covered in 4 of their last 6 contests. They should not be getting so many points tonight on their home court against a Celtics club that's lost 3 straight. The Cavaliers have been highly profitable in this series as well, cashing in 10 times in the last 14 meetings. The Boston Celtics have been a horrible bet when playing away from the TD Bank Garden this year. They're now 6-12-1 ATS in their 19 road games thus far. They got smoked in their last outing, 88-103 by Detroit. And they're 0-4 in their last 4 games following a double-digits loss. The Celtics have been outscored by their opponents by an average of 6 points/game when playing on the road. The Cleveland Cavaliers have been outscored by an average of just 4 points/game when playing in front of the home crowd. Cleveland is 2-1 ATS after 3 or more consecutive SU losses this year. And they're 5-2 ATS in their last 7 against Eastern Conference foes. We'll gladly take the points and the home court advantage, as we fully expect the Cavs to at least keep it within the numbers tonight at the Quicken Loans Arena.

#15 Posted: 1/22/2013 2:35:26 PM Here's an NHL game I like...
Montreal has still not signed P.K. Subban and the fans let them hear
about it in their home opener. The Habs managed just 22 shots in a 2-1
setback to Toronto in their opener. Florida looked great in their
opener, but were taken out early in their next contest, as they were
outshot 18-4 in the first period and never recovered. They certainly
aren't likely to face that barrage against Montreal who managed just a
single power-play goal in five attempts and nothing otherwise in their
home opener. The Panthers took all four meetings between these clubs a
year ago, and I like their chances on the road here tonight. Take
Florida.

#21 Posted: 1/22/2013 8:21:59 PM hey Angle, long time follower and admirer; just haven't posted to avoid clogging up with great thread. I was wondering how it's possible to access Billybaroo's NBA 1st and 4th QTR ATS spreadsheet. Copying and pasting did not work for me; just leads to private server. I was able to get into Semperfi's SS in the past but this one appears to be private. Is that an exclusive SS? The quarter stats have been very helpful along with all the other posts. Much obliged
Keep up the great work and continued good luck to all
