#3 Posted: 12/12/2012 2:54:30 PM LA Dodgers @15.00 is a great price and they are stacked
m.kemp and a.gonzalez + a.either/c.crawford/h.ramirez
c.kershaw and z.greinke + several middle of the rotation guys
= the best odds from a team with a legitimate chance of winning it all
i am not saying they will win it all no matter how much they are spending well over spending but i will put some on them |

#11 Posted: 1/3/2013 1:59:48 AM Reds 12/1. I think they win the Central easily and end up with the best record in baseball.

#13 Posted: 1/3/2013 10:07:20 AM Are the Astros +1,000,000? If not you are getting ripped off. Heck, they should be +1,000 just to not finish 5th in their division. JK, buddy.

#14 Posted: 1/3/2013 1:55:20 PM Save the $300. Wait til after the All-Star Break. Then put $30 against the Astros and $10 -1.5 runs every game. I've done it the last 2 years...it's amazing how bad they are and how much money you can make going against them.

#16 Posted: 1/4/2013 4:22:13 PM Simple Simon reporting in folks. You ever watch that game show "Let's Ask America"? Well sometimes I cuss the idiots that don't go for the whole enchilada on the final question. The gambling math is simple. Even with a complete guess or dart board because you don't have a clue the odds are 1 in 4 you will hit the right answer, but the payoff is 5 to 1. That is an overlay, negative odds for the bookie (show sponsors). So, just start with simple odds. Any team that pays over 4 to 1 win their division, over 14 to 1 to win their league championship, or over 15 to one to win the World Series has an overlay advantage. Look up the odds. Eliminate all teams at lesser odds. Now who do you like?

#19 Posted: 1/5/2013 1:08:51 PM My home town Blue Jays. Pitching rotation and bullpen are set. Lots of power and speed in the line up. May take a year to gel but baseball doesn't require as much chemistry as hockey or basketball |
