#101 Posted: 10/24/2012 6:57:19 PM I know baseball and I played as well. I really dont give a darn what you think, we will see what happens tonight. SF has been there and dont that against the heavily favored Texas Rangers and they didnt give a darn. The Tigers simply choked especially Verlander last time. There are big time players on the Giants as well, so Im not sure what you are talking about. And who said the WS means nothing? I never said that, so before you jump on my balls are start kicking learn how to read big dog. The Tigers are not ready because it is the World Series, they will be very nervous while the Giants will be laid back like they were in 2010 and this entire post season. Its nothin to them, they are resiliant. They know they can come back from being down regardless if it's a game or series, especially when those orange towels are goin crazy tonight at AT&T.
But Im sure you know more because you are a washed up baseball player from Texas still talking about his good ol days on the diamond. Im tired of people always claiming they know so much about sports because they played their entire life, if you were any good you wouldnt even say something like that. This is gambling, wake up. |

Whoa there amigo! Lotta anger there. I see your from Cali so that explains a ton. Should have looked at that before. You said "they dont give a darn", think that right?! Anyhoo, slow your roll. It's baseball and anyone can beat anyone on any give day, I said I "respectfully" disagreed with your logic, I think your line of thinking is way way off base but best of luck and slow the anger...goose fraba! |

I can make those predictions its my thread. Im making a bold prediction have you ever heard of it?
pkright--I have no anger. I dont know why everyone thinks I am angry. Like I said before I wake up next to a big booty dime every day at 7 AM, run 5 miles, then I do 1000 push ups, and then I hop in my Range Rover and push off. No hard feelings what so ever, anything I type on here I do it and laugh at the same time. There are nearly 5000 views on this post so I have to be doing something right.....but if you want to bash or ridicule thats all fun and games. |

No reason for that bruh. The series price is at +155. Tonights game is at +157. If you put your money on the game tonight and they lose, the price will be much better for the series. IF they lose then I will play the series price. |

His last outing in the Series means not a damn thing and saying SF "dont give a fk" is retarded! They feel it just like any other athlete does in this spot. Yes, they feel I'm sure it's house $ to a certain extent but they are still professionals, PERIOD. I will repsectfully disagree here with your logic.
Giants are scrappy and thats how you beat good pitching. one thing that im really big on is their momentum going into this game. The Giants are pretty much on a freeroll...theyve been written off for dead twice this postseason already and clawed back to not only win, but make history. Now they go up against the Tigers Ace in game 1...who is the pressure on? Sure as garbage not the giants...theyre essentially expected to lose this game. If they do in fact lose, then its no big deal, as they lost to the most dominant pitcher in baseball, but if they win....think of the mental blow that the Tigers will take. David slayed Goliath...the one person they were COUNTING on to win for them. |

#111 Posted: 10/24/2012 7:30:02 PM You know how the Giants will react, the obviously didnt choke in 6 elminiation games. They didnt choke when they lost Wilson and Melky Cabrera. Two key players. They didnt choke against the Rangers when no one said they had a chance. They didnt choke when Lincicum decided he likes weed more than baseball. So we know the Giants. I am not a Giants fan, I am a baseball fan. I am a fan of any team that makes me money. I am not bias and I dont know why everyone keeps saying I am bias. |

#113 Posted: 10/24/2012 8:03:07 PM Nice Thread EO.
I'm not on the game tonight, but think Detroit will win this 1. It should be close & I like your +1.5 play. After the long delay, Tigers may struggle to produce runs. JV will be locked in tho, & won't be given up any easy buckets.
GL to you & thanks for the good read.

Thanks
To meangreen: I dont play over/unders especially in the playoffs. To many factors. I think the best method would be make over heads, under tails and flip best 2 out of 3. Great way to do over unders in playoffs. |

#117 Posted: 10/24/2012 8:48:12 PM Yeah, Im happy that the Giants are getting their bats on the ball at least. As long as they are making contact things will eventually happen. |

#120 Posted: 10/24/2012 9:09:53 PM DUDE! My brother was suppose to manage my team before I left and he just abandoned my team. So you know how that goes....there were a lot of people that sat on the bench that should have started and injured players in starting positions. With that said I still finished in 1st place ahead of the 2nd place team by 30 games and I lost in the championship because the starters were all messed up. My team was unbelievable. |
