#226 Posted: 10/15/2012 11:56:28 AM Bluewaterdude, the NCAAF 2 team parlay system that I use it take the spread and divide by the total. If you get 35% or more, then make 2 parlay wagers on the same game.
Wager 1 Fave/over Wager 2 Dog/under
Shiman has modified the system for 44% or more.
Some books will not let you parlay games with such a high percentage of spread to total.
Example, Alabama was -21 and the total was 41
21 divided by 41 is 51%
I bet Ala - 21/over 41 in 2 team parlay I bet Mizz + 21/under 41 in 2 team parlay.
Ala/over won and Mizz/under lost. That's 1.6 unit profit on that game. You don't have to win half your bets to make money, but you will ALWAYS lose at least half your bets since they are the opposite of each other.
When it hurts it when the large favorite covers and shuts out the other team so you may have Alabama covers 38-0 and the game goes under causing you to lose both parlays.
Or the dog will score a lot of points and cover, causing the total to go over with the dog.
Sometimes there are more fave/over winners and sometimes the dogs/under will bail you out. I ALWAYS bet BOTH ways.

Thanks McShady, I hope it helps people. They don't win like that every week as you know. Sometimes 6-4 or something like that. This week was a really good week for Dogs! Many of the angles are contrarian which is usually a dog.
I hope u got in on some of the dogs this week. I had a 4 teamer that hit. As you know, the angles are not my own so I can't take credit for them and I don't want to plagerize (spelling error) the source.
I just keep giving the hint on where to find them but some people are either overlooking it or can't get the hint.
I hope Denver comes in tonight to make it 100% angle plays for NFL. I will buy one point with Denver but will not leave a half-point. If they are +1, I will buy to +2. If they are +1.5, still I will buy to 2. No half points. I wish I could get them at +3 but I don't think that will happen and I am betting early.
GL today and thanks for the shout-out!

#230 Posted: 10/15/2012 12:46:52 PM Clarification on Denver. My main book only allows one point buy. Therefore if Denver is +1.5 I would go to 2.
If you can buy more than one point and it goes +1.5, you could buy to 3. I don't know what the juice is on a 2 point buy as I have never had a book that would allow that.
On the total, I have some info on the under...but this is a smaller play for me, Denver is 2 unit play.
Both teams finished over this number last week as the defenses
struggled. This should cause the defenses to be very
focused tonight in a divisional contest. Plays on the under on home teams when the total is between 42.5 and 49
points, in a divisional game following a game where both previous opponents scored 24 points or more,
are 38-15 the last 10 seasons. An average of just 41.0
total points scored in this situation.

#236 Posted: 10/15/2012 1:38:44 PM GAME 2 GIANTS/CARDS
Line: Giants -115, Cards -105
Total: 6.5
Thoughts: Vollgy vs Carp., and you have two guys that have struggled to get to the 5th inning in their starts. The Giants have yet to have a QS from a pitcher in the playoffs and Carp is fresh off surgery. The more I dig into the pitchers the more I think Volgelsong steps up tonight and delivers a QS at home where all his vitals (OBA,WHIP, ERA) are better than on the road. Carp is a vet that I think matches Vollgy early then simply runs out of gas. I like the Giants to even up the series tonight in a pitchers duel.
My leans:
GIANTS -115 ML
GIANTS -1/2 F5 +120
PREDICTED FINAL 4-2 Giants
Good Luck

#245 Posted: 10/15/2012 2:51:00 PM Semper followed NROPP last year extremely detailed capper. Another excellent man to follow in NCAAB is JFen31. Both share alot of the same stradegys associated in capping CBB. |

#248 Posted: 10/15/2012 3:32:38 PM Hey guys - did some more filtering on my Football 2H calcs. I'm throwing out NFL - not consistent enough. I'm also a bigger college sports fan and the NFL is too boring to sit around until halftime after you watch 10hours of excitement on Saturdays.
Also throwing out College Dogs, they hit, but I think I found better filters. I'm going to start posting on Covers/Twitter this weekend for those of you that have a hard time calcing it. Toughest thing w/ College is the halftimes are all over the clock. So unless you live on your smart phone or computer - it's tough to catch them all. I think I found a solution to that as well.
I'll throw out a reminder and links on Thurs afternoon for those of you that like College plays.
I feel like I owe this thread a lot, been doing great in MLB w/ the heroes here, only to throw it away on Sunday's NFL with my experimental calcs.
Stay tuned

#249 Posted: 10/15/2012 3:35:51 PM What you guys think about no runs 1st inning for giants/cards game? Yes it is juiced to about -150, but looks like a good bet for this pitching matchup.
