And karma is going to make people put their entire bankroll on one play? People are laughing at him because of his pathetic money management.

They say a fool and his money are soon parted, but sometimes it takes extra innings. |

#59 Posted: 10/9/2012 9:51:37 PM Why would you risk your entire bankroll to win $300. Even though it should have hit, it was still a poor bet IMO. If you were so certain the Reds were going to score 3 then you obviously felt they were going to win the game, so why not parlay the OV2 with the REDS to win for $250 (still too big of a bet with a bankroll of $750, but a better play in this spot)? Sorry to kick you while you are down, but with with a $750 bankroll and a long college and NFL season and NBA coming up there were much smarter plays on the horizon. Just my opinion. Hope you learn from your mistake, reload and come back better. GL

#64 Posted: 10/9/2012 10:21:20 PM Sorry Riceboi. You'll be back soon enough. $750 really is a small price to pay. I've learned the same lesson myself in my earlier gambling days. |

#68 Posted: 10/9/2012 10:47:11 PM That was kind of bullshit and uncalled for. That bet wasn't the stupidest one I've seen around here. you guys have made some dumb behind bets and plays as well.

The above quote isn't much smarter.
Anytime you risk your entire bankroll on a single play, you are demonstrating your sports betting IQ. Defending that, is perhaps even more egregious. |

#72 Posted: 10/9/2012 11:00:46 PM MrBator nice to hear from you. I agree maybe a lesson learned maybe not. I will say if I would of had the benefit of this forum years ago I do believe my gambling IQ would have increased a little quicker. Not to say I'm any BrainTrust today but watching others win and lose and their modus operandi while doing both has sped up my learning curve quite a bit. Hoping my discipline and willingness to learn keep increasing. Great to hear from you as always. |

So you are in the habit of donating money rather than wagering strategically? You're obviously not in a position to speak universally for sports bettors. |

your absolutely right being that alot of people actually probably treats this like a career and I just for entertainment as I thought this was more a site for entertainment than some kind of business website. And believe it or not you do have those who come on here and actually blow money for a living just because their filthy rich. point being why bash someone else's betting style when you dont even know if their doing this for the same reason you are |
