#6 Posted: 9/8/2012 10:51:12 AM Looks like there was an error in my database in the last 7 day wOBA stat. This didn't effect the model output, but it did not copy over into the team data on the sheet. I've fixed the mistake for the next set of sheets, but I do not feel like rerunning the whole card just for that one stat. |

Maybe UNDER is better here? 3-2 type game or something like that. And
no score in 1st looks strong.
What about Medlen today?
Even if you consider the starting pitching match-up dead even (which it's not)... the Athletics have the 12th ranked offense (on the season) against righties whereas Seattle ranks #26 against lefties. If you look at recent play, the offensive advantage is even greater. I'm not over thinking this play. At -125, the Athletics are not getting the respect they deserve from the oddsmakers. Seattle is also by far the worst team in baseball in home field offense. They actually rank worse at home than they do on the road even if you normalize the ballpark factor. |

#10 Posted: 9/8/2012 11:28:29 AM Medlen is old news now. The books know what he's dealing and you won't find any value in his lines. Pass. |

Most people who have been around here for awhile will tell you that BigEastExpert is the best at college football. estes1717 knows the SEC better than anyone I've seen so when he posts a conference pick I usually pay attention.
For the NFL, I really like to see who RUSH is on. He's a living legend.
You won't find as much substantial analysis in the college football and NFL forums. Lots of opinion with very little substance. I won't be spending much time over there this year. It's just not worth it anymore. |

A little birdy I know ;) tells me that si1ly has better numbers than bodio this year (and bodio is a paid capper now). |

#19 Posted: 9/8/2012 1:16:41 PM Hey si1ly, if you get time check out the under in the Tex/TB game. Got a current season under angle thats 14-32 (70%) to the under league wide and 4-20 (83%) American League. Darvish and Archer have incredible SO/BB ratios L3 and umpire is decent. |

This is an under or nothing game.. but at 7.5 I don't see a lot of room for error. If Archer had more data to work with my model would have this game somewhere around 7.2. I would consider playing it at 8 maybe. |

Thanks si1ly.
Goodone, no good filter matches from si1ly's sheets xcept for a minor one on Hous, but I can't play Hous to win 2 in a row especially with Norris and his 0-4 away day record. Pulled out an old line movement system from my vault Thursday and it went 5-0 Thurs and 9-3 yesterday. Has SF, Mets and KC so far today. I played SF -1 small, as after going 14-3 last 2 days liable to tank today. Mostly using it as a tool to finalize selections. |
