This is dedicated as always to Semperfi and McShady. I got a late start I can't always remember on Wed nite that new series start on Thursday as there are still series on-going.

Link to McShady's spreadsheet just cut and paste.

Good morning, fellas.  Excellent job all the way around last night!

Thanks to McShady/Semper/Angle/Moth/Action/et all...winners galore!

So, let's talk about today's slate.

I'm going to take a chance on the Indians to avoid the sweep.  Wow, have the Tribe been dreadful lately or what.  Appears the Indians have completely thrown in the towel, but getting swept at home in a 4 game series is difficult to achieve regardless of how bad you stink.

Anybody else with me on Cleveland today?

Speaking of backing a team that has completely checked out for the year, I'm also continuing my Red Sox chase in Anaheim.  I'm afraid the 9th inning collapse in Game 1 may come back to haunt me here.  But, Lester is capable of throwing a gem.  And, Greinke has really struggled with the Angels.

Not to mention, the Angels swept the Red Sox in Boston just last week.  Can they really beat them 6 straight times in a 10 day period?

Any takers on the Red Sox to avoid the broom?

As always, thanks for any feedback, fellas.

The low line on Oakland looks like a trap, but Cle could easily get swept.

Boston could also, but Greinke has not been very good with the Angels. The juice is under -200 on the Angels and not as attractive as it was the first 2 games. I'm not sure if I want to continue.

Everyone who follows please chime in and let me know you found the new thread.

I just found Angels under is in play today for McTrendz.

PLEASE NOTICE THAT THE SECOND POST OF THIS THREAD WAS FROM CAMPJENKINS AT THE END OF THE VOL 40 THREAD.

I don't want to confuse anybody. If there is anything I have missed, please let me know.

McShady doesn't have any plays on his spreadsheet as of this posting.

Re-posting from last thread as there are a couple of games today I may try to see if this works.

I read somewhere and cannot find it now, that CONFERENCE HOME DOGS dogs in the FIRST 2 WEEKS hit pretty well in NCAA football. I cannot find the email, so this is a guess based on memory. Please do not put major money on these plays!

The games involved are:

Thurs
S Car at Vandy +6 (buy to 7)
E Mich +3 at Ball St (buy to 3.5)

Saturday
Mia at Boston College +2 (buy to 3 or 3.5)
Troy at UAB +6 (buy to 7 or 7.5)

Tough to take Indians, I am staying away.  They have been terrible.

Red Sox lineup is so bad.  Lester has been better, but I am not sure about that one either.  May sit these out.

Here is the stat that I was looking for: (don't know how many years back this goes).

"Take any September conference underdog of three or more points," the record is 139-99-6, which is a 58.4% winning ratio.

So, IT IS NOT JUST HOME DOGS AND NOT THE FIRST 2 WEEKS!

SEPTEMBER CONFERENCE DOGS ONLY!

Sorry guys, I found the original email.

Back to MLB, sorry for the off-topic info.

CLE is terrible but (Masterson #2 pitcher) has pitched well and the Tribe is looking to avoid a 4 game sweep (Parker #4 pitcher). And the line is moving in CLE favor...

I put money on the Red Sox, Indians, Tigers and Phillies to avoid the sweep. Hoping to hit 3/4, or the Sox and one other. Awaiting the new chases for the weekend. Thanks guys.

hey Angle, taking the Rays -1.5 (start of chase) and Redsox +1.5, just to be safe, like the Angels under too. Thanks for the info. Kinda laying low waiting for Friday series to start. As always BOL and thanks Semper, McShady, Angle, Camp and all others.

If anyone hears from Semper please post any plays. I don't know what he will do if anything with Tampa chase as they are juicy.

Oh, Parker doesn't pitch well on the road and he's a 2nd year pitcher.

I updated today's card in post #16 above (the site crashed for a few minutes).

Let's go Indians!  I'm also playing the Phillies -1.5 (+185).  Nothing more than a gut play

BOL to all Chasers in the early games!

I believe Tampa won yesterday. Not much to do with it...right?
