#9 Posted: 8/29/2012 6:17:40 PM Nice call on the B-Jays. BOL tonight The ones I am not playing my numbers do agree with, so maybe the benefit of two different methods pointing in the same direction continues to pay off. hell of a theory anyway.

The Mets are just getting over looked. Harvey's numbers are sick and this guy that's being called up is in a really tough spot - I think he's good for at least a couple early. Do I think Philadelphia can get 3+ off Harvey in the first 5... not likely.. especially since they've never seen him and he's been untouchable in almost all of his few starts. |

#19 Posted: 8/29/2012 6:30:46 PM White Sox are also getting over looked. Saunders struggled before getting traded and he's got some of the worst numbers in the league against righties. The White Sox are a righty stacked line-up and have the 8th most potent offense against south paws in the big leagues. They're also very familiar with Saunders. Axlerod has shown moments of greatness and he's up against a bottom 10 offense against righties for the first time. White Sox will want to avoid losing three straight so I think they come out firing and get out to an early lead. Both the Mets and White Sox first 5 lines are false favorites. |

#20 Posted: 8/29/2012 6:34:41 PM I wanted to play the over in Texas, but there just wasn't enough margin of error to justify a play. Although I think both starting pitchers a vulnerable to give up runs early. The bullpens are too strong to take an over and the first 5 line was too high (@ 5) |

#21 Posted: 8/29/2012 6:35:04 PM I would have played the first 5 over in Texas if the line was 4.5 |

couldn't agree more... I touched on all of those things in my write up. Harvey has good splits vs lefties too, which should also help a lot in this game. the rookie for the phils making an unplanned spot start is gonna be a tough task for him.

#25 Posted: 8/29/2012 6:42:04 PM Yeah, my reads have been spot on across the league the last few days so I'm just trying to take advantage of having a good read on the overall market. It's hard to explain, but at times during the season I have moments of clarity when I actually feel like I can see the future. Yesterday I stayed away from all the big favorites, went 2-1 on plays and my posted leans went 5-1. Two days prior I went 1-0-1 and my leans went 6-0. No need to play a small card when I'm seeing the full slate with this degree of accuracy. I've tested the waters and I'm ready to jump in today. This is only the fourth time this season that I've played 5 games in a single day. |
