#3 Posted: 8/19/2012 10:44:12 PM just a lean so far but I am probably gonna play the Mets RL +100 with Dickey on the mound against Colorado and Alex White. The Rockies are probably still gonna be missing Cargo.

Prior to the game, Colorado put outfielder Michael Cuddyer (strained oblique) back on the 15-day disabled list. |

#12 Posted: 8/20/2012 12:06:05 AM I sure would take a real good look at Chicago. It's a real good spot for them against Freddy.
Best of luck...

#14 Posted: 8/20/2012 12:10:16 AM I am sure the line will change but I would think the Pads would be a great play against the TIRED Rats..!!! 19 innings then travel to play next day, wholly garbage batman... |

#18 Posted: 8/20/2012 12:44:17 AM Quit gambling if you have to ask for help from people man. If you are stuck in a rut take a week month or more off brother and come back energized not asking a forum for winners. Take a break and figure what you are doing wrong capping games instead of asking for winners tomorrow to chase and get your money back. |

#19 Posted: 8/20/2012 12:44:21 AM chase--- a word of advice...
often players get rested on mondays, so check the lineups and weather before you lay a round of desperation bets..
check baseballpress.com and click on lineups and check them first... it would suck if you took the rays and they were resting longoria...
that being said, with a full lineup the rays are headed home against the royals.... both squads just swept their opponents.... rays have won their last 11 of 13 since longoria came back off of the DL... Hellickson is a beast right now... his last start was a 1-0 loss to the mariners when king felix pitched the perfect game... and without the passed ball, they might not have even scored that run.... with a full lineup, i would definately take the rays... they have made me a sick amount of money in the last 2 weeks, including last night when they came back from 8-0 to beat the angels 10-8.... excellent bullpen with one of the best closers in the biz... and they need to keep winning to potentially catch the yankees and win the AL east in which they are only 5 games back.... that would be my #1.... but they are a pricey -175, and i wouldn't take the -1.5 runline, because they are the home team...
1 drawback though... they are flying back to the east coast and have to adjust to a 3 hour time difference, but they are nasty at home and i am sure Hellickson has been in tampa for a couple of days already awaiting this start....
#2 would be the padres... they are playing the pirates tomorrow and the pirates just played 19 innings and now have to fly from st. louis to san diego... the pirates are calling in a AAA pitcher right now to make the start.... the rats will be exhausted, and i love playing against a team coming off of an emotional victory, they usually can't get up for the next game the way you think they would... volquez for the padres isn't the greatest, but he is no slouch, and they scored 7 against zito and 7 against vogelsong and the giants pen the last 2 days....
these would be my top 2.....
but again, check the lineups, the weather and the umps....

#21 Posted: 8/20/2012 12:54:43 AM It's awesome that fellow forum members/cappers helping others out and no one has lectured about money management. I run into these holes too often and understand how you are feeling Chasedown. I'll ride this train in hopes that we all can get back on track. These last weekends have been brutal! And what's worst is that I have to put in the plays the night before since I work weekends too! You are in good hands. GL Chase! |

tough to go against the reds right now... especially against the phillies, who play better on the road then at home....
