#1 Posted: 8/19/2012 3:29:27 AM Updated MLB YTD: 169-114 +94.30 Units
Friday's Results: 2-2 +2.47 Units Saturday: No Plays
Hit my 10 unit bomb on the Dbacks -1 Friday to make my plays of 8+ units 3-0 on the season. Picking the right spots to go big is key, and I've done it right so far. No big plays like that for Sunday, but there are some I like.
Sunday's Card:
Giants ML 4 to win 3.07
Braves ML 4 to win 3.36
Reds RL 2.5 to win 2
Yankees -1 4 to win 3.51
There are a couple of other things I sort of like for tomorrow as well that I'm gonna sleep on.
BOL to all

You got lucky on that game. If you don't believe me, ask Kirk Gibson. |

I'll be somewhat honest. Usually I go into my plays being very confident they will win. I'm less confident in the Braves tonight, and playing a bit more of a "feeling" than the numbers may indicate.
Here's some stats to support my pick though.
Minor has thrown 6 consecutive quality starts. His era over that time period is 2.45. On the season Billingsley's OBP is .313. Minor's is .315. It's not as big of a pitching advantage to the Dodgers as most people think today. The Dodgers avg 3.61 runs vs lefties. The Braves avg 4.91 vs righties. Those numbers hold up over both the last 5 and last 10 games as well...with the Braves scoring 5+ vs righties during those periods.
That being said, I see most of the other well-known cappers here are on the Dodgers today. I just feel it will play out the other way, and if I'm wrong I can live with that.
BOL with your picks today.

I was away Friday night so didn't follow what went on with my picks too closely, other than if they won or not. What went down?
I can likely agree with you though. I expected the Snakes would knock Keuchel around, and was surprised to see it being a tight game. Either way, I'll take the win at the end of the day.

Could be today! But, I have a feeling it will take a lil longer. I'm not as stoked about this card as most others.

Unfortunately, my fade of the Jays in most spots has to continue until Lawrie and Bautista get back. I don't trust Harrison, but Alvarez is far too spotty and gives up a garbage load of hits.
