Saturday 0-3: It was a forgetful Saturday but it was probably long over due. Just means it's time to get to work on Sunday...

Like the Rays. Not concerned about how Vogelsong threw in his last game? Pirates game is pretty hard to handicap since you don't know what you're going to get out of Garcia.

Vogelsong got lit up by a very good Nationals team. He should have a very good chance at rebounding against the Padres who are slumping again. Plus I like him pitching at Petco in another pitchers park.
Pirates play is simply about the + money value. Garcia was terrible before and he is returning after a long DL stint. He will probably be on a limited pitch count. If the Pirates can get him into the stretch and get that pitch count up, we will see the awful Cardinals bullpen for extended work. This adds value to the Pirates.

I am going to look more into the Giants play tomorrow before possibly adding them to my card. Richard is definitely San Diego's best chance at taking a game in this series in my blind opinion as a Padres fan, but we shall see what the data speaks to me in the morning. Haha I posted a couple plays that I was confident in from the begging and now on to some much needed Zzzz's!!

Keep it up Shark! Love the pirates play, fading a pitcher coming off the DL!
From MLB.com on Garcia "
is expected to be ready for at least 100 on Sunday, when he takes on the Pirates for the first time since last July."
they had this to say about karstens "Karstens (4-3, 3.91 ERA) has excelled in his last eight starts, going 4-1 with a 3.12 ERA and 41-to-12 strikeouts-to-walks ratio, while pitching at least seven innings five times. The first outing in the stretch came on June 30 at St. Louis, when the right-hander held the Cardinals to two runs on four hits in seven innings, while striking out seven.... Karstens is 3-0 in day games, allowing three earned runs in 19 innings for a 1.42 ERA."

Good luck on your picks.Like the over in Pitt more than the side.Karstens was poor in day starts before this year.I had TB last 2 games not going to push my luck.Moore facing LAA for the 3rd time this year and Grienke has dominated TB in the past.Moore very good last 3 starts but 2 were against Tor and Sea.
