And went into the High Roller BJ tables, played one hand, just to sit beside Josh Beckett.

My friend told him sorry for the tough season, bad luck with injuries and you'll bounce back next year, yatta, yatta, yatta — just wanted to be nice and start up a conversation.

Well Beckett was a giant douche and was just pissy with my friend, even though he my friend was really nice and sincere with him. No surprise though. He said he was hanging with a group of dudes that had cowboy hats on.

My friend lost that one $100 hand of BJ.

Thanks for the story, I hope Josh Beckett get's hammered at the BJ tables the same way he get's hammered on the pitching mound.

My friend just texted me and said he just lost 2,700 at the BJ tables. That's like 20 dollars to us....I also asked him to ask Beckett why's it's so hard to win betting baseball!!

Your friend should tell Beckett that he's going to make a huge bet against the Red Sox the next time Beckett pitches.
