#6 Posted: 7/23/2012 6:57:23 PM I like the ring factor for Ichiro...he deserves a chance. I can't help but to think that all of a sudden Ichiro becomes "ICHIRO" again in the minds of opposing pitchers because of the players around him. He can slap-hit or take a walk to first EVERY time he comes up imo...we'll see
All of a sudden we'll hear................. batting 2nd (or 1st, or whatever)......Ichiro, from all the dumb behind Yankee games with their annoying announcers |

#12 Posted: 7/23/2012 7:12:44 PM I posted last night in a thread that the NYY ML would ATLEAST get to -185 by 7pm tonight. Now at -200. Getting them last night at -165 was a steal imo...they don't want to lose to Seattle tonight w/out thier best player....after a 4 gm sweep.....or do they |

#13 Posted: 7/23/2012 7:25:16 PM Didn't see this thread before I started one. The Yanks front office is freaking brilliant. And this is coming from a Red Sox fan

#15 Posted: 7/23/2012 7:52:48 PM id bat ichiro 9th... adds speed to the bottom of the order and presents another option to set the table for the top of the order... with Jeter in the 1 hole and ichiro 9... 2 guys very capable of getting on base for the big bats

#17 Posted: 7/23/2012 8:02:05 PM Ichiro will slap hit and walk his way to first for atleast 4 more yrs now. Bat Jeter 2nd imo, Granderson 3rd and dare I say it A-Rod 9th???
Oh the options....
I still like my Tigers. I think they upgraded big for J. Turner. 4 yrs and nothing to show = a trade dead-line deal and I think the Tigers won big...
GL tonight |

#19 Posted: 7/23/2012 8:08:09 PM I had a feeling the Yanks would get him one day. Just hope he can become a .300 hitter again. Makes a lot of sense for the team and even marketing. |
