The -1.5 experiment

This is going to be pretty simple. You bet both teams -1.5 on the runline. If the winning team wins by more than 1 run you win money. If it is a 1 run game you lose both. I withdrew a good amount of money so I am doing this for fun. Tail with caution. Since I am not sure how well this will work I am playing this EXTREMELY small. All bets will be only $10. As we win (Hopefully a lot) I will increase that to 20, 30, 40 you get the picture

Game 1
Whitesox -1.5 $10 to win $13
KC -1.5 10$ to win $23.30

Game 2
Rangers -1.5 $10 to win $14.50
Mariners -1.5 $10 to win $20

Game 3
Red Sox -1.5 $10 to win $23.80
Rays -1.5 $10 to win $13

Lets see how this goes

This is a terrible idea. I say this because Ive thought about and crunched numbers on this in the past. It may work for a few days or a week or something but itll cost you money in the long run no doubt about it

I mean in game two youre risking $20 to possibly win $4.50 or at best $10. Its awful

yeah I don't see how this can work long term.

Initially I thought you meant you were going to bet one side -1.5 and the other side +1.5 with the chance of hitting both. Still probably not a great idea but at least you can't lose both and you have to win one.

For you to have a winning game, the dogs always need to win by -1.5 (you still lose if the fave wins by 2+ runs).

That's tough.

Relax guys it's chump change that's why i'm only doing $10. No way I'm doing this for $100 each. That's for other plays.

You still win if the fave wins by 2+. IDK where you are getting that from

I have a better idea. I'm going to bet both money line on Texas and Seattle that way I can say I won after the game

Yeah but you gotta do it like this. The O/U is 9

so you bet Under 6.5 at like (+200) and Over 10.5 at like (+150) so that way if it lands on 7,8,9, or 10 you lose both bets and 2 Units but if it doesnt you collect 1 or .5 Units!!!!!!
