Dear Vegas,
I see that you've posted Boston as a small favorite against the "can't lose, greatest team of all time, NYY."  The consensus retards are drooling with joy as they open their wallets to put money on the Bronx Bombers in such a key matchup.  Not only does Boston has a worse record, but their starting pitcher has a higher ERA.  This is quite the lure!  Nice work Vegas ; )
P.S.
You consensus retards have really made many of our lives easier.  It was nice to see the Twins/Tigers Over come through as you all hammered the under!  Thanks again tards!

As of 7/5 and since tracking such artwork... ... ...

4-1

Boston -105

I saw ARI too.  It may be a similar kind of play as ARI is only +103.  However, my numbers are suggesting that LAD is at some point this year, going to win on the road.  Good luck if you roll with it.

boston's lethal offense 14 runs in 7 games against seattle and oakland....wow what a great team ....after beckett gets lit up tomorrow how are they going to support him....he has the lowest run support on the whole team.....consensus stuff is nice to read ....but learn to cap the games before you start insulting people

any team can beat any team on any given night.....putting that aside...boston is not playing well...losers of  3 in a row and 5 of 7....offense is poor....teams don't just snap out of funks because everyone is on the yanks.....so are u insinuating a fix here???

I'm not insinuating much more than that fact that people do dumb things.  In my experience as a gambler, when I come across a game that's too good to be true, go the opposite way.  NYY could win, BOS could win . . . I just believe this kind of play is effective.

You're reminding me of people who stay on soft 18 against a 10 at the casino in BJ.  They're Idiots.  18 is a poor hand.  Hit the guy until you have 17 or higher.

Good luck with your plays!

Well to me I think the key here is if Middlebrooks is playing or not for the Red Sox. He was providing alot of pop to there lineup when they were playing at Fenway. It seems without Middlebrooks playing there is a huge dropoff in there run production. I see he is questionable for Friday.

Those games were on the road. This is back at the Cathedral Of Boston. A whole other animal. Red Sox will pound Kuroda tonight. It's about the big picture here.

I forgot to add that Beckett is 6-0 against the Yankees in his last 6 starts so I'm curious what makes you think they are going to pound him?

Hey Polar, nice stat but how many of those 6 wins were this season?  NONE.......

Josh isn't the same pitcher he was in 2011 nor are the Sox the same team.  All good points to validate whichever team you are taking.  Me, I'll be your Huckleberry..........I'll take the Yanks and the Over here.

GL to all either way you bet.

Correct he has yet to face them this season, but it does tell us the he gets up to play against the Yankees organization. I listed that to ask my question to the other poster who seemed so certain Beckett was going to get pounded tonight.

After the golfing fiasco and before his injury stint, in the middle of last month Beckett put together 3 starts that consisted of 21.2 innings pitched allowing only 3 earned runs while striking out 19 and walking 4. He looked pretty solid in his first game back from the DL albeit against the Mariners.

Kuroda often saves his worst outings for night games on the road as the numbers bare that out.

Time will tell. Sox/Yankees, expect the unexpected.

GL Phil

Expect the unexpected.........with these two teams that is spot on.  All good points too Bear, especially the road record.

GL to you as well.

Josh Beckett is 5-0 in his last five starts against the Yankees

Josh Beckett is pitching at home

Josh Beckett is pitching against an old Japanese guy who's own fans aren't fully sold on yet.

Yet Boston is an underdog tonight, Interesting, Very interesting.

Boston opened as the favorite. Bettors have been bust betting the Yanks into the fave because as Phil touched on above people do not view Beckett the same right now, or the Sox for that matter who just finished getting embarrassed on the west coast, and looking very feeble while doing so.

Vegas will never ever have a problem acquiring Yankee money, even against the Sox, and especially against a Sox team looking very weak and probably missing their good young 3rd baseman to boot.

A weak looking and injured Boston team opening as the fave against the bronx bombers is what is interesting here.

I've highlighted what makes this kind of play so unique.

Vegas opened Boston as the favorite, which is exactly what this play is all about.

Good Luck to all!
