#27 Posted: 6/27/2012 10:53:53 PM I'm not so sure travel is an issue with the Mets considering todays game was an early game and tomorrows is a 7:00pm start, I'm sure there in LA already hanging out by the pool in their luxury hotel getting ready for a night out at some high end steakhouse or some garbage. |

I'm also looking for an upgrade or uptick in Arizona for value and Philadelphia. Hopefully, the oddsmakers are slow with Philadelphia and AZ. Cleveland is in downtick and what I try and find is what teams opened up earlier in the year with a better team and how much openers/odds have moved and if there is an edge.
Granted, I like playing teams who are motivated, on an uptick, and have a optimal lineup, with a bullpen who's available. It's hard to find..I try and beat the NVL and most importantly pick a winner. I understand now!. |

You are correct as I have played Washington the past two days but not worth posting status. I had money on all games except three tonight, NY Yankees, Chicago White Sox, and Seattle. Had winners with Boston, LA Angels, Washington, SF run Line and losses on Philadlphia and Detroit (most likely) |

Haven't looked to much into Burnett except , he's been a closing dog for 9 out of his 12 starts including a +105 winner at home vs. Detroit, the market is now showing he will likely close as a favorite on the road vs an improved Philadelphia team even with tonight's performance. He's been great and the market is showing it by backing him at Philadelphia vs a sub par starter in Kendrick. Have to look into him a bit more but has been 3rd best pitcher in MLB to back. |

They throw Young against an almost desperate Dodgers team and arguably one of the best pitchers in the NL right now. Capuano trading at a discount, Mets havent been to strong as of late, and face a lefty who's on his game. If Mets were throwing a lefty I wouldn't buy but they've had ok success vs Righties (besides recent series). Young is not in the category of what they just faced.
LARGE PLAY: DODGERS -132 Like the thought. The Dodger speedsters will steal at will as long as they can get to first base and should lead to a couple of manufactured runs. |

Probably, as Jackson isn't in the category of the other pitchers but is demanding the same opening price of Gio Gonzalez, but may be a play more against Outman who hasn't pitched well at all. Nationals just a better team.. |

#41 Posted: 6/28/2012 12:24:08 AM In the battle of two struggling teams do you go with the home Orioles? Both have been struggling with hitting big time.
Felix at home has to be a look to against a Boston team who, is hot, but just traveled cross country. If they get a game, it could be tmrw.
Tampa has to win one soon enough too.... |

FYI - Utley is only starting every other...so he will not start 6/28...gl |

#44 Posted: 6/28/2012 12:35:14 AM The public is just going to fade the Dodgers because the Mets exploded and the Dodgers can't score at all. However, they should be leery of their 10-17 record against lefties. I agree, the Dodgers are a solid bet.
