Los Angeles Dodgers (-105)
Pretty interesting Monday matchup here. You have a Dodger team that is really struggling on their currrent roadtrip (currently 1-5), and you have the Giants who are coming off a completely nuts series in Oakland, where all 3 games were physically and mentally draining. You have a pitching match-up featuring a kid who has been nearly flawless in his five starts, yet he sits 0-3 (team 0-5) in Nathan Eovaldi. The Dodgers just don't score for him. Averaging 1.0 runs a ballgame with him on the bump. You have Barry Zito on the other side. June has not been kind to Barry. An ERA over 10, and WHIP over 2. That good start is now a distant memory. Somethings gotta give. At some point the Dodgers are going give Eovaldi some support. I don't see any better time than tonight against Zito, who has just been Godawful lately. If Eovaldi is half as sharp tonight as he has been so far this season I see no reason why the Dodgers can't win a 6-3 type ballgame. I don't even want a sweat here. Dodgers need to handle Zito, grab an early lead, and cruise to the finish.

Dodgers are +100 at 5Dimes, -101 at Heritage and -107 at Bookmaker so not a whole lot different than what he is posting. His line (although not great) is not that bad either |

#8 Posted: 6/25/2012 11:57:45 AM Houston Astros (-150) $75.00/$50.00
A couple of shitty teams going at each other in Houston tonight. Both actually coming off series wins. San Diego took 2 of 3 against the Mariners, while the Stros sent the Indians packing taking 2 of 3. As bad as the Astros are (30-42), they are actually quite serviceable at home, going 21-17 thus far this year. San Diego on the other hand is just bad all the way around. 10-23 on the road. The Astros are 3-3 on their current home stand, and you know that they'd like to finish it strong. Ohlendorf vs. Wandy Rodriguez is the most one sided pitching match up of the series. I'll drink some juice with a bad team and take the Stros this evening.

Yes. So many different ways to win this bet. Bad Zito; good Eovaldi; leaky Giants bullpen we saw this weekend...etc. etc. etc...

BOL.

Not gonna lie. Between the ages 18-23 I was awful at bankroll management. I would commit every cardinal sin in the book when it came to chasing, doubling up bets etc. etc. etc....older and wiser now I understand what it takes to stay composed, and take the bad nights along with the good. "LoserNation" was appropriate for me 4-5 years ago lol...

#21 Posted: 6/25/2012 2:38:32 PM I stand corrected on tonight being the most one-sided pitching match-up of the series...looks like it's gonna be Kip Well for the Pads tomorrow. Kip Wells...

#22 Posted: 6/25/2012 2:51:22 PM what book do you use bud?
if you are getting seeing the reds game at near even money, you should toss some shekels on pinny/dimes and play both sides for literally free money... |
