I had under 8 total for BIG in Washington-Toronto game. To start off, Morrow goes out after the first runner ... so I thought I was fucked.

Anyways, then it was 6-1 bottom of 9th. Encarnacion hit lead-off double ... Blue Jays take Jackson out, put in reliever ... he gets his first 2 batters out easy ... then some scrub pinch hitter from Brazil, Gomes dude with 1-1 count, hits a 2 run hr in a meaningless game to make it 6-3 and darn me on my under ...

I'm never betting again. Disgrace

No offense...but a game with 18 hits and 6 walks prob goes over 80% of the time...let alone when the total is just 8

My point is...when you bet under 8...the game has 18 hits and 6 walks...to say you got f*cked cause a late hr doesnt make sense...should have gone over in the 6th inning

Ok, but it didn't ... I was one strike/out away from a huge gain. Now, I'm broke.

But, youre looking at it the wrong way...

Youre looking at 1 play on a 54 out game....

What about the 6 at-bats during the game with a runner at 3rd and 1 out that didnt produce a run

To look at 1 at-bat or out out of a 54 out game makes no sense at all

Look at it how you want...

An over 8..with the offensive stats and baserunners this game had, Im guessing it goes over 80% atleast

getting fucked is getting fucked no matter how lucky you may have been to get to that point.

I guess we see things different.

Most bets are for full games...48 min in basketball, 9 innings baseball, 3 periods hockeys or 4 ptrs football.

If you look at it the way you do, youre going to give yourself a stroke...

Baseball games get runs in the 9th inning ALL the time...

Yes, a 2 out hr is tough, but I dont understand how its getting f*cked...

It happens very, very often

So you are saying the 3-18 batting with RISP means nothing to the game that in your eyes should have been under

Happens all the time "especially the nba" but you will never get used to it, just the roll of the dice sometimes

How often is a game going to have 3-18 RISP and stay under by 1...

Stats work both ways...

Have a good night...

The game should have been over in the 6th inning

I'm 25 and doing my PhD ... don't even know why I gamble - cuz I get bored and enjoy the thrill..

I take it you made this statement based on personal experiences?

So he should feel exactly how the way you feel??  Maybe he should actually feel great since the game gave him 3 extra innings of hope!! You talked about people being classless in make comments about your loss in your thread then you want to tell the guy he has no business to be upset after a loss. When others don't agree, you have to try the hardest to win the argument on how people should feel, no less.

Thanks for your opinion.  But, the person this comment was directed to wasnt even the thread creator

He told me he based his getting "f*cked" opinions on games with last second shots or 9th inning runs.

I was stating my opinion on a 54 out game, or 48 min game, how can 1/20th of the game determine if it is f*cked or not
