#2 Posted: 6/8/2012 2:58:24 PM Joe Blanton. Not a bad pitcher at all. Nice career. Beautiful 12-6 curveball. He is a pretty decent pitcher, not great. Not nearly as bad as most bettors think. Blanton steps up tonight, big time against an Orioles offense that has looked nothing short of complete dog garbage since late May.
Jake Arrieta. There's your bum. He couldn't hold a candle to Blanton on his best day. Take a look at Philadelphia's offensive numbers on the road this year. They score, score, score. Arrieta get his behind handed to him tonight by the Phillies. Blanton steps up.
Take the PHILLIES |

#3 Posted: 6/8/2012 3:25:46 PM Thank you for your response, but I just cannot see how phillies on a losing streak can be the best bet for tonight? They are playing awful blowing the lead every game. I cannot put anything on this I would say for you to stay away also. |

If the Phillies are such a bad bet, maybe the Orioles are the lock you are looking for.

Overall wins? Starting pitcher? Rockies hitting numbers are always a little inflated due to their home park, but I guess you could say the same for their pitching numbers. Plus Tulo's on the DL. But yeah, not sure what he meant by that |

#9 Posted: 6/8/2012 3:59:45 PM Yanks. I'm a lifelong Met fan. But Johan is in line for some regression after back to back shutouts. Add to that his high pitch counts, as well as the fact he is not pitching on normal rest (he was pushed back), all indications are a sub-par start tonight.
Yanks lineup just stronger top to bottom. And Kuroda is no slouch who has had success against the mets in the past.

Strasgburg won't pitch more than six innings. The Red Sox are good at driving up pitchers counts. Doubront has been very consistent this season and is the Red Sox best pitcher at the moment. He hasn't allowed more than two runs in any of his last five starts. I like the Red Sox to win this game at home.

#18 Posted: 6/8/2012 4:56:13 PM Betting on the Phillies is a good way to go broke. And Blanton does suck. Be smart dont bet on them. |

If you HAVE to lay it all on one game.
I'd wait for tomorrow and put it all on Chris Sale against the Astros. |

White Sox aren't that good against left-handed pitching.

#24 Posted: 6/8/2012 5:07:10 PM All on one game is not good money management.
Myself, I am betting on OVER 9 for Cle/StL. Not all of it, of course.
Take a look at the starting pitchers. They suck. And Cards just scored 14 runs. Indians have four guys hitting .279+. Not Murderers Row, but both teams get 5+ runs tonight
