These games are 11 am local so the 10k fans are not as intimidating. LSU is not consistent at the plate and Stoney Brook should be able to weather the storm. These Tigers have overachieved to say the least. They're run will end this weekend. Stoney Brook will get game 1 +380 but I can't find a series price.STARTING PITCHERS

Game 2
LSU - So. RHP Kevin Gausman (11-1, 2.72 ERA, 115.2 IP, 27 BB, 128 SO)

These aren't the gorilla ball Tigers. If LSU has to play catch up, it will be a long day for the Bayou Bengals.

Stony Brook (50-12), champion of the America East Conference, is batting .336 as a team with 34 homers and 93 stolen bases in 127 attempts. The Seawolves are led at the plate by centerfielder Travis Jankowski, who is hitting .417 with 17 doubles, 10 triples, five homers and 46 RBI. Third baseman William Carmona is batting .393 with 23 doubles, seven triples, 12 homers and 70 RBI, while infielder Maxx Tissenbaum is hitting .390 with 18 doubles, one triple, three homers and 48 RBI.

LSU has 3 hitters that will be trouble:
LSU junior leftfielder Raph Rhymes, leads the nation in batting average, hitting .452 (99-for-219) with 11 doubles, four homers and 52 RBI. Rhymes is hitting .568 (42-for-74) this season with runners in scoring position, and he batted .458 in SEC regular-season games.
Junior RF/1B Mason Katz is a second-team all-SEC selection for the second straight season. Katz, batting .323 on the year, is LSU's leader in home runs (11), and runs scored (63). Katz completed the regular season in the Top 10 of six different SEC offensive categories.
Senior shortstop Austin Nola is batting .313 for the Tigers with a team-high 16 doubles, one triple, four homers and 42 RBI.

I knew I would find a thread on this game....MF left fileder cost the game for SB dropping the can of corn.  Also the shortstop w/2 errors killed them as well.  I have SN at +395, but no way do they wind this now.  THe relief sinkerballer is getting his ball up in zone and LSU will take him deep AGAIN if the 2nd tier Coach does not relieve him.  darn me...this game is killing me.  No way SB will win this super regional

If SB lets the same pitcher throw the 11th....it's OVER!  Guaranteed!  He sucks and is their best prospect....he's throwing meat at 84 MPH.  I'll slam LSU next game!!!!
