Game starts in about 2 hours...Only day game today....
Two different teams coming into this one, the Sox are struggling and Clev is playing better...
Clev has won 3 straight series, and 6 of their last 7 series overall, which is impressive...
They have a call-up starting game 1. This line seems too low for me. Yes, Humber threw a perfect game, but he has been off since. I dont have the stats, but pitchers usually struggle their next 2 after a no-hitter/perfect game, then 3rd start back throw a gem. Thats what I am hoping for here again.
Yes, the Sox are 3-7 in their last 10....but, they blew 4 leads late...lost 2 games on a road trip they shouldnt have lost...
If losing to Bost and Det are bad losses, thats fine...
But, that 3-7 could easily be 7-3 with a couple pitches going a different way....
They are making changes in the bullpen and Santiago will not be closing.
They are my team, but they also play better away from home...They also have a good record at Clev the last few years...
Good luck with your play, but I like the Sox to get the sweep today and get back to .500
