#51 Posted: 4/30/2012 10:44:50 PM quick question for either (and or both) semperfi and mcshady if ur willing and able to answer...
when do you typically put in that 2nd and 3rd bet following a loss...right after the game....early next morning...or close to the start of the following game..or other?

#52 Posted: 5/1/2012 2:03:20 AM I missed Semperfi on Astros, but already bet based on NLC home sweep posted by McShady. Also took Minn. Will now be on Minn and Balt. Keep it up guys! I played 2 other dogs with Ariz and Pitt, much success! Didn't get a chance to post without info early but my top plays hit with Kings +135 NHL and Minn under both plus 2-teamer. Another easy win with Tex ML and RL. It pays to play Texas both ways most of the time. My work schedule keeps me from posting all plays. Let's get them some more!

Good question...there is no easy answer here becasue it always depends on the situation. If you are playing against a public fav like Yankees or Red sox or Phillies its usually better to wait until game time to see if you can get a few more dolllars on the ML. I usually just look at it at 8 am make a decision yes or wait, then again at noon, yes or wait, then at game time. Today I am going to play Orioles later becasue they are playing the Yanks and I am looking to get a 180 here. I am posting now at 170 but I will not play until game time most likely.
1-1 last night, Nice Hit with Stros, now tis time for Team Showalter to get it done!
ORIOLES +170 BET 2 200 to win 340
I will also have at least one other series that starts today as well. |

#55 Posted: 5/1/2012 9:27:47 AM To add to what Semper said. If you wager early with listed pitchers and one scratches. Your bet is cancelled, which can hurt you in a CHASE. I know some guys can only place their bets in the AM. Tough spot to choose "action" bet.
Congrats to the Astros backers! |

#57 Posted: 5/1/2012 11:10:50 AM I'm starting to like Pittsburgh for a chase. All three arms going for them in this series have pitched really well. |

#59 Posted: 5/1/2012 11:49:35 AM Looking over my stats, all 4 of the Game 1 losses I have had were by 1 run...Twins +1.5 (even) woulda fixed that last night. Oh well. Onward and upward! |

Series Odds had Dodgers as a slight favorite. G1 was Rox, G3 is Dodgers. Looks like G2 is the coinflip game ( I expected Lilly to be -120ish) |

#66 Posted: 5/1/2012 3:18:32 PM I'm tailing Semperfi and McShady of course and will add my 2 top plays. Mets to avoid sweep 1 of next 2 games (I won with Astros last night) and KC over 9. Also 2-teamer on Mets and KC over 9. Noticing that most of McShady's series have won in the first game, if he has two or more series starting the same day it might be worth making a small wager on a parlay after checking his record you would be 4-1 this season and all 2-teamers. WOW!!!

#67 Posted: 5/1/2012 3:22:14 PM I forgot to mention all those parlays were dogs of course and there would have been some very large payouts! Sweet!!!

#69 Posted: 5/1/2012 3:33:33 PM Semperfi and/or McShady, can you list which pitcher or pitchers or none for action only on your plays? I figure you are counting on one pitcher or the other, am I correct? And as you said earlier McShady, if somebody bets early and a pitcher has been listed and then scratched, it voids the bet. Any advice?

I do post my pitchers on my plays. However, I have been known to stick it out even when there are pitching changes. He has happened twice and both times I stayed and both times I won. |

#71 Posted: 5/1/2012 3:40:34 PM Semperfi's plays are based off LISTED pitchers unless otherwise mentioned.
McShady's plays til this point have been ACTION. but will be doing LISTED from now on to keep this simple. GL |
