#631 Posted: 9/29/2012 11:48:47 AM Doubt I'll have a play on any of the day games, but I have some leans for later that I will probably be playing. |

How did you do last year? Final unit and in the playoffs? |

i've always been better at my friends than picking winners, but this is the first year i have tracked plays and taken it more seriously. i have no idea what i ended up last year, and it wouldn't be that indicative of anything because i chased and made action bets regularly. |

#642 Posted: 10/2/2012 2:37:34 PM Okay, i have just watched your thread the last month, and your picks are very consistent. So just to know, if this year is a one timer, or you have the believe that next year will be around the same.. give or take some units.
Very impressive this year |

well i play poker for a living and do very well. with that lifestyle i was making a lot of action bets on nationally televised games and chasing losses when my sportsbetting account had a bad run. it was obvious to me i could pick winners, but i didn't take it seriously or care much about winning.
partly due to the online poker ban in the u.s. cutting my income quite a bit, this year i have looked at sports wagering more as investing and an extra source of income, and thus taken it a lot more seriously. i don't chase, i don't make action bets (or the few i have made i haven't posted ha), and i'm in the process of developing a consistent model as well, especially for totals.
it's been as good of a season as i can imagine (i've nearly quadrupled my bankroll, started betting by % of bankroll instead of $ amounts near the middle of the season after making a lot of profit), but i don't see why i wouldn't be solidly in the black at the end of next season as well. |

#646 Posted: 10/2/2012 3:38:37 PM Sounds try good and solid donnie. Action bets are never the way forward.
I will follow you closely next season, thats for sure.
Do you have confidence in a winning last part of the MLB season. Might as well start off my tail, as soon as possible. have to keep up to get the profit in the long run.
Have my own system and my own picks for a lot of other leagues and sports, but here in baseball you really impress me. If you begin to take MLB betting less seriously, please let me know :-) |

#647 Posted: 10/2/2012 3:47:42 PM if i start taking it less seriously, i'll stop posting. i have the utmost confidence that the picks i post in this thread will be +ev. i've surely had less picks per day on average than i did earlier in this season due to the lines tightening up, but the bankroll is still slowly and steadily on the rise. i should have more 4+u plays once playoffs hit. nails to be pounded. |
