YTD: 8-7 -$720

Yesterday: 3-3 +$915

Thoughts from Saturday:

I wish I just bet Detroit. That team looks absolutely unstoppable.

SUNDAY:

HOU ASTROS under 8 230/200

TAM RAYS 250/200

ARI DIAMONDBACKS 200/210

BAL ORIOLES 250/200

DET TIGERS 880/800

In 15IP vs. NYM last season, Mike Minor gave up 21 hits and 13 runs, all of them earned. With a career ERA over 2 runs higher on the road, coupled with the fact that the Braves can't buy a run right now...

NY METS 1100/1000

GL

Opposite you on the Mets. Think Minor carries over a good spring (only spring ...). Hard to argue with the stat you posted though.

On this too.  I expect a 3-2 Rockies win.

Finally, someone I agree with on most of their picks. I love the mets here. I think they sweep the braves. This ball club needs a strong start. I expect minor to give up some runs and exit the game around the 5th inning. With atlanta using their bullpen the last 2 games it will be hard for them to put up some runs. Mets could have easily won 8-2 today. They have to score with runners on.

Good Luck today MM

I was leaning Tigers for the sweep, but Scherzer numbers vs Boston are astronomical

SCHERZER is 0-2 when starting against BOSTON with an ERA of 9.45 and a WHIP of 2.026.

while Buchholz has been solid

BUCHHOLZ is 1-1 when starting against DETROIT with an ERA of 2.82 and a WHIP of 1.200.

So, is Boston +1.5 at at -205 a good play?  Seems far too high for me - too much to risk for a small reward.

Norris IS a stud, just on a shitty team. They have been scoring, and if it continues, he could win 15 games easily. Love the picks!

@post 16: perception is greater than reality. Look at the game of poker. On paper, yes, Mad Max blows vs the red sox. But then again, have you watched how these last couple of games have gone? Clay also barely pitched last year because of his Fred Couples back. I also think that this year you might as well throw stats out the window when it comes to the Tigers. They look hungry. No chance I'm getting in the way of a hungry tiger.

I wouldn't take that. High juice for a team that got absolutely steamrolled 10-0 yesterday. You know that your team is stacked when Avila was hitting 8th the other day.
