Looks like we are going to see a No-Hitter on ESPN Opening Night Baseball.  Nice to get it out of the way early.

Cardinal special; stranding runners on base. For a guy who hasn't played in a year giving up 3 runs in 5 innings is not a bad day; albeit 10 hits.

The interesting question is what does the manager do if Lohse gets around 90 or 100 pitches in the 8th or earlier. Its real early in the season to push your arm to the max. Hard to take him out if its still going though.

That is not an interesting question at all.  The easy and obvious answer is that LaRussa leaves him in the game.
