Its because its a ST game, the stats are skewed big time. The ratio isnt that good, gameday just isnt as accurate |

#68 Posted: 4/3/2012 1:15:27 PM the number of balls only increases with number of walks. 4 8 12 16 etc. No strikes are added to ratio on a walk just balls. Like wise for outs only strikes no balls. |

#70 Posted: 4/3/2012 1:15:46 PM The pitch count on mlb.com doesn't work. It will only show balls when someone walks. in which case it will count 4 balls and no strikes . No matter what the count was. They're also throwing A LOT more pitches then it shows. It could be a 20 pitch at bat but it will only show 1 pitch for balls that are put in play. |
