Careful..............they had an absolute disaster of a season LY...........so bad it would be tough to replicate. Gutierrez & Smoak were hurt most of the season........Ichiro & Figgins had their worst seasons ever........ & they were starting 5-6 rookies almost every day. They've some great young talent...........most likely another year away from contending but I like what they're doing.

#28 Posted: 2/12/2012 9:32:03 AM 416 The mariners need offense. Wedge has come out and said he's not sure about putting Ichiro in the leadoff spot. Figgins has sucked in seattle so we'll see. My guess is Ackley |

Figgins is going to have to earn a roster spot...........guy was a total bust LY............but he's stated that he plans to rebound & be the starting 3b this year.............I'll believe it when I see it. |

Great to hear from you brother MUGG
while I Like Gutierrez , I think Smoak is a Bum, Rangers have needed a 1B forever and they could not get rid of him fast enough
Ichiro while still good is on the down turn
Trading Pineda was a HUGE mistake IMNHO .... could see him winning 18+ for the Yankees this season
just have to disagree ... I have them finishing 22+ games behind both the Rangers, and Halos

Phillies 84-100 Division is getting tougher ... Don't see much value backing the Chalky Phills this season ....Sure the SP's are GR8...Not sure about signing Papelbon , could see high blowing more than his hsare of saves ...Bats are getting a Year older and Maybe the Ijunry bug bites hard this season .... Betting Under 100 or Higher
Nationals 78-93 Will be pulling hard for one of my "new" adopted teams ....Hoping to get Micheal Morse on my fantasy squads ...Hoping Gio Gonzalez can pitch at a ALL star level ..Defense up the middle needs to be much better for the Nats to go better than 500..... Betting Over 82 or less , also hoping for some longshot odds to make the Playoffs
Braves 78-96 On paper they look much better than the Nats ... How will the ATL respond after last year's epic Choke ??? Braves fans must be super Happy to see Derek Lowe gone ....Betting ---Just waiting to watch them the first 20+ Games
Marlins 70-84 Seem very Overrated coming into 2012... I could see Reyes taking a step back after signing the HUGE contract ... Will Hanley continue to be a Whinny little girl ?? Will Josh Johnson return to stud form ??? Betting Under 84.5 or more
Mets 66-83 not sure what these jokers are doing ...David Wright and Jason Bay are Poster Boys for PED's ....will Johan regain his form ??? betting --Not with Free Money

I'm from Philly and not a Marlins fan in the slightest.
I just feel with all the young talent, they would have been an 82 win team with simply a healthy Josh Johnson and decent numbers from Hanley Add to that the addition of Reyes, Buehrle and Heath Bell and this team can do some serious damage.
I've been wrong before but really see big,big things from the Marlins this year..maybe 95 wins

Reds 78-96 Have been Backing this Knuckleheads for 3+ Years now... Love getting Latos and Marshall ..Cordero was getting softer and Ryan Madson should be a Nice add as well .. The Hitters are so aggressive and Strikeout way too much ...Zack Cozart could have a break out season ....As Always Pitching will be the Key .... Betting Season Wins Over if 85.5 or less... was Hoping for better than the +135 that is currently being offered to win the Central ... Will be Betting the Reds in Exacta World Series Boxes with the BIG 6 from the AL (Yankees,Rays,Red Sox,Tigers,Rangers,Angels....
Brewers 76-94 Wins What a Break with Ryan Braun getting the OJ Simpson Treatment ....This guy is a Stone Faced Liar..Wish MLB would just step up and admit that 90%+ of the players juice and its no BIG Deal //.Like the Pitching staff and could see a few players stepping up with Prince gone ... Mat Gamel ? Betting Not sure , but tempted to take them over 82 wins if offered
Cardinals 76-94 Wins Hard to them any higher with all the Losses in the Off season ... Biggest might be La Russa and Duncan...O wait Pujols the PED monster takes his talent to the AL... Betting Nothing just want to see them play
Pirates 66-88 Wins Lots of Pieces starting to fall in place in a division that is up for grabs ...Will Need some Big Years from the Rotation to compete for 500. or better for the first time in 4 ever .... Betting Over 72.5 if Offered ... Also tempted by the 20-1 odds to win the central for say $20
Cubs 65-84 Wins Ok so I Like Starlin Castro and Wrigley and thats it .... Betting Under 82.5 if Offered
Astros 60-75 Wins Nobody Likes this team !!!! who knows ???? I do Like a few of the SP's ... Betting Over 70 if Offered ... would Like real Long odds to win the central

#46 Posted: 2/27/2012 1:29:22 AM To Win Division
The Long shots
Royals 20-1 $25 why not ... just bought my KC Fitted the other day (cost $31)
Nationals 12-1 $100 not I am not Drunk ...Love the Lineup and the Moves they made .... Ryan Howard could miss some time and the Phils are getting kind of Old ....Like The Rotation and plenty of fresh Bats ....
Marlins 8-1 $125 Feel Like I have the East Cornered if the Phillies slip....Will the Braves rebound after choking so hard last season????...Love Stanton,Gabby and Maybe Reyes can stay healthy ,,..will that girl Hanley stay calm ??? Josh Johnson could be awesome ....why are they only +950 to win the NL >>????
Astros 125-1 $4 why not for $4 ???? I call Pre Flop with 7-2 for 4 beans sometimes...

#49 Posted: 2/27/2012 12:11:45 PM here are my 2 cents on the N.L. Central doubleup:
Reds 88 wins
Cardinals 79 wins
Brewers 78 wins
Pirates 77 wins
Cubs 70 wins
Astros 65 wins
You said you like Castro and Wrigley and i like neither. Also everyone knows i've been saying Pirates win the central for months but once they got Burnett that's why i put them in 4th. Just my 2 cents
