I will start. 2006 . I was on the biggest roll of my then young career. I had ammassed 28 K in three weeks from a beginning bankroll of less than 600 dollars. I vowed never to play a nfl game. But greed got the best of me. I placed 10k on new orleans vs tampa, new orleans failed to cover the spread, so that set up the chase play: Kansas city -3.5. 11,000 to win 10,000. with the game tied 20-20, larry johnson broke loose for a 78 yard screen pass. He was home free it seemed, but somehow antrelle rolle caught up and tackled him by the facemask inside the 5 yardline. johnson was hurt on the play, Kansas city ran it 3 times , to no avail. kicked the fg , game over.

Giants @ Titans in 06. Had the giants ml as last play of $20,000 monster parlay. Giants up 21-0 less than 10 minutes in 4th quarter. I think we all know what happened next. Couldn&#x27;t sleep for weeks after that.

I should clarify, it was the final 5 mins of the game. Tampa was dominating and I had $5,000 on Tampa-3.5. Was counting my $$$ and celebrating with my brother, cousin and a best friend of our family at the local bar. I was buying the final 4-5 rounds of drinks and shots. It was a MNF game. Called in sick to work the next day for 2 reasons!!

just absolutely brutal man.  those kind of defeats i can live with becasue the team down is always trying to win the game.its games where the score is 42 - 0 and over and under is 42&#x27; and the losing team is at there own 5 in shotgun formation. you know the story of this.  that is what really bothers me

i wouldnt forget this one, the steelers/jaxs on monday night 06, 07. the think the line was pitt -3 and 44. i was down 12g for the week and so i went all that to try to break even . i had 6 on the under , 3 on the jaxs and 2 parlay. 9 sec. left in the game, pitt 21 - jaxs 19 and jaxs was lining up for the winning field goal. i was so fockin happy that i got myself out of that shit. And it happen, pitts blocked the field goal and return for the td with no time left....i will never never forget that one....To this day, i wonder to myself why do i still gamble for......

I had 12k on LA Lakers i believe 2009 playoffs vs houston, Yao got injured everyone expected a blowout, first quarter houston opended game on 22-2 run LA never led. Ouch just reopened that wound

Mine was a college football bet, I had South Carolina -3 against Mississippi State last year.  South Carolina leading 14-10 late in game and Miss. St punts with about 2 mins to go pinning SC deep.  SC runs three running plays to kill the clock but there is a 2 second differential on the play clock so they will have to punt.  While it was the right call, it still hurt, and Spurrier has his punter run out of the back of the end zone as time expires and gives up the safety.  I lose 14-12

Had under.......There was 3 secs left on the clock and the total points accumiliated thus far in the game was 10 points below the total......

Nuggets up by 3 with 3 secs left and the nuggets had the ball, from a timeout...If they inbound the ball, they get fouled, shoot the fts and game over...

Nope, Iverson throws it to Raheed Wallace who throws a 3/4 court shot to send the game into OT

When I was young and dumb....I did a 12 team parlay that would have payed out $119,000...risking $500. I didn&#x27;t know at the time when this game lost but of course 11 of the 12 hit. The one game that didn&#x27;t hit is when Drew Tate of Iowa threw the hailmary pass in the Capital One Bowl to beat LSU...I believe that was in 2005. If that didn&#x27;t happen at the end of that game...I would have hit that parlay....oh what a life changer that would have been for an 18 year old at the time.

I once won a game and still lost.... Chargers at Steelers..... Chargers last play of the game and they start the pitching shit... but crazy troy picks off a lateral and takes it to the house.... then the refs made a rule up to say no td.... later aplogized but that didn't help me...

last year.....Dbacks vs Dodgers.I had dodgers.... they were leading 6-1 in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and then dbacks started getting on base..... then a ryan roberts walk off grand slam dbacks won 7-6
