Since I see everyone freaking out and making such ridiculous threads so early in the year, after 2 weeks of baseball (10% of the entire season), I decided to post this terrific article by one of the best baseball writers in the business, Joe Posnanski.
Great article to put in perspective how meaningless the first 16 games of the season are to predicting what will happen in the remaining 90% of the baseball season.

Incorrect. Their offense has done nothing. Their BABIP was the lowest in the league and they had the least walks/lowest OBP in the league. Their offense will continue to improve and they will perform better which will in turn lead to them winning more games.
Last year's 91-win Braves team had a 9 game losing streak in April.
They started 8-5, then all of sudden they were 8-14. About a month
later they went on a 14-2 run including a nine-win streak.
Also last year the 88-win White Sox lost 8 straight.
The Rockies had a winning record in 2010 despite an 8-loss streak and a
nine-loss streak that was part of a 1-13 run.
Last year's Padres barely missed the playoffs but had a 10-loss streak.
A lot of good teams look bad when you look really closely at the
schedule. And everyone looks really closely when it's April 20th.

I believe their crazy streak started after they came back against the Reds from like what, 8-1 or 8-2 in the Bottom of the 9th? I remember I had Atlanta ML for a decent wager, and so i got pissssed and actually went for a drive, came back and saw them win haha I think that there are games like that, ESPECIALLY early on in the season, when teams are trying to find their groove or just need an extra push of motivation; then a game comes along, they either just rip the other team in half, or they make some incredible comeback... then suddenly, they go on a damn tear, and obviously will encounter road bumps over the course of the season, but for the most part are pretty consistent from there til the end of the season... thanks for the link bro, bol

buddy carlyle looks better than any of your scrub pitchers that you think will lead the AL east.

You said that right now the stats in 18 games say it all. So according to your feeble little mind the Orioles have hte best starting pitching in the AL East and it will be that way all year long.
