#12 Posted: 3/31/2011 4:39:32 PM it opened at -200 72% on the cardinals then dropped 20 cents before game time.. seemed fishy.. could have been adjusting because it's opening day. I also liked the price.. i think the cardinals are a little overrated.. besides pujols and holliday i do not like their lineup.. for the padres i really like venable hawpe ludwick and bartlett i see them having good years |

See thats what I don't get, making a wager based on what a sportsbook does to encourage money on another side to get a 50/50 balance. Most likely quite a bit of money on a high dog so lower the fav to get more money on them....unless you are betting both sides there is no reason to pay attention to the line move...because you are getting a worse line after it has moved |

well i use a site that averages 5 or 6 sportsbooks so unless it was a garbage load of money in one book or what i dont know how else the line would move like that
+192 to +168? seems weird |

Perfect situation to be both sides...if I could have gotten +192 would've grabbed it because I have the cards at -180...then who cares about the game |

No hits yet. I think they will wait till the 6th inning in order to take the lead so the Cardinals' bettors can cash in 1st 5innings. |
