I wonder if he will go through with a matchbook bet next year on the Orioles making the playoffs.  I honestly don't even think they could contend with the Jays...

People are making such a big deal about Showalter. What were they going to do when he got there? Get worse?

It was just a case of a new manager creating a spark (which is pretty typical)  That being said O's are going balls to the wall... while a lot of other teams have given up and quit on the season.
