5 Unit plays 1 - 1

 

One would hope that the Cubs gathered momentum going into Friday's game.  Lou's dirt kicking antics sparked a late inning comeback, and the thought of potential pay-cuts if the team doesn't get things turned around kickly rings clear in and around the dug-out.  The last team to beat the CWS was the Cubs.  It's only fitting that the first team to beat the CWS since 9 games should be the Cubs.

9 games ago, bettors were lining up for a ticket against the CWS, now that they're hot, bettors are ready to lay the load.  The odds of hitting a 10 streak are less than the Cubbies beating the CWS in Chicago. Hot streak or not....If Soriano is in the line-up, I feel good about the game. I heard rumor that the Cubs have seen Peavy pitch before..Not just on tape, up close N personal....Let's see how they respond to day game Action.

This is perfect, my two teams play practically back 2 back: Cubs play then the Royals play with an hour delay. Plus it's two rivalry games, this is beautiful

If you seen yesterday game a wake up game, omg.  That was one the worst played games since their milwaukee game.  Seattle had several opportunities to win that game, bottom of the ninth.  Chicago needed extra inning to beat seattle that, wow.  A wake up game.  Please i needed woke after that game.

 

Chisox all day.

Not only are the Sox playing much better, but the Cubs flew in late last night/this morning from a late game in Seattle.  Travel, fatigue, and confidence will play a roll here.

I like the Sox, not just because it looks obvious.

You mean the same Seattle Team that Swept the Cincinnati Reds, and the same Surging Seattle team that was on a hot streak(6), and playing at home in Seattle. 

The point my friend, is that the Cubs put out the fire.   Just call the Cubs the Firemen today. Another streak(9) gets laid to rest today.
