I changed some things up a bit, from my early day leans, that I posted in the 1st 5inn thread.
#1 PHI @ SF = Sanchez has better 1st 5inn number this year than I
previously expected AND he has better numbers Vs PHI than I expected to
see. Under 3.5 is my play here, and not PHI, as was my previous lean.
#2 ATL @ STL = I knew Hudson had good 1st 5inn numbers, but Lohse's 1st
5inn numbers were much worse than expected. My concern is that ATL has
had cold bats with RISP. Here is hoping they can break through with a
few big hits early. I'm still considering playing the Under 4.5 here
though as well.
#3 LAD @ NYM = I decided not to make this play as the NYM have been at
home for quite a while now, and the LAD have been on the road for a
week. The NYM are 6-1 in their last 7 games, But they have lost all
Perez Starts. LAD are 2-4 on their Road Trip, but have won all 3 of
Kuroda starts. My lean is still the Dodgers, due to the Starting
Pitchers, but this will be a no play for me.
MISC) I had been leaning SEA (Hernandez) as they are 4-0 in his starts,
but his last 3 have been at home. And SEA has not hit worth a darn all
year. -170 is too much to lay on a team not hitting well. Davies is no
slouch this year, and the Under
4.0 might be the play here. But KC can hit, and they have done a
good job of it even off of very good pitchers and they have done so
early in games too. I think I'm going to leave this one be, unless
somebody gives me reason to play it anyway ;)
#4 ARZ @ COL = Very much considering playing ARZ in this game. I don't have much but, the "big boys" in the 1st 5inn thread are ALL on AZ here in the 1st 5inn tonight. I have some time to think about it yet, so I'll chew on it for a while longer.
