#1 Posted: 3/12/2010 11:56:18 AM four simple filters are as follows for the dog:- must be divisional opponent
- must have won previous game
- local start time of game must be evening (6pm or later)
- game time temperature must be less than 85 deg F
results are as follows for last six seasons per sportsdatabase.com:
2004: 123-125, +47.5 units 2005: 132-127, +50.3 units 2006: 116-103, +47.7 units 2007: 123-137, +28.8 units 2008: 125-126, +36.4 units 2009: 102-130, + 5.7 units
even in 2009, which was the worst year for dogs (if u wagered on every dog in '09, u would have lost -79 units), it still produced a profit. use as u would like, gl |

#9 Posted: 3/15/2010 4:16:27 PM the query is as follows:
D and division=o:division and p:W and NGT and temperature<85 and season
2009 was by far the worst year for dogs in the past 6 years. for the month of july alone, if u had bet every dog, u would be down -64 units. |

#11 Posted: 3/17/2010 2:18:01 AM AZMAT - Requested you as a friend to ask you a couple questions about putting in a query in sportsdatabase.com to back test a solid
system I've been using for a couple years. Interested to see what the
database spits out.
For example what would I enter in to find the record and +/- units of a team to win 1 game in a series after being swept?

#13 Posted: 3/17/2010 10:07:43 PM capital P is the query for team's previous game vs opponent so the following would be it for game 1:
P:margin<0 and PP:margin<0 and PPP:margin<0 and P:series game = 3 and series game = 1
to get games 2 and games 3 simply add another 4 to the first three parameters and change series game to 2 and add p:L etc. |

#20 Posted: 5/23/2010 12:15:46 AM For any one interested, this system is 44-43 plus 15 units thru 5/22. It has had one losing week to date. |

#24 Posted: 8/14/2010 12:54:18 PM I checked this without the temperature constraint, it's +228.82u without it. (up to now)
With the constraint, it's only +227.67u, not much difference, and actually a little worse with the constraint.
