Finally something for us miserable Royals fans to be happy about

And from what I've heard...he doesn't want to go to a big market. He may be in Kansas City for a LONG time...which is good news for you as well. He must be really fun to watch.

 

I'm just upset the Yanks didn't face him this season...I would have liked to see that.

Cmon bro don't say stupid things like this. This is a REGULAR SEASON award and both Grienke and Felix Hernandez had MUCH, MUCH better seasons then CC did. No debate.

When Royals lose the 1st 25 games of the season, the Royals are gonna wanna trade Z.  you wait & see

Royals won't trade him.......not until the last year of his contract, if then.....they are very poorly run, but not even they are dumb enough to trade Greinke.

They will trade Greinkey.  Everybody said Texas would never trade A-Rod. Sooner or later Grenke is going to get tired of losing 120 games every year & is going to want out.

Oh, eventually he'll want out alright.....and eventually he'll get out, but not until his contract is nearly up.  His contract isn't quite as unfriendly as A-Rod's.....

What upsets me is how was Greinke not a unanimous selection? This was the easiest call of all awards. Sure King Felix had a good season as well but you can't make an argument for him to win the Cy Young. King Felix had more innings but after that Greinke had him beat easily in every other meaningful stat category.

I also called how the top 3 would go... Greinke, Felix, Verlander

Glad the voters agreed with me that CC was not a top 3 candidate.

Yup...Greinke and Felix were the obvious 1-2 punch in this race.

 

I think the Yanks will grab one of them when they become available.
