I think you're way off there. The Red Sox were dead as a doornail before their Division Series even started. The looming prospect of getting battered around by a much more determined Yankee team in the ALCS was more than enough to remove any fight from the Red Sox. The Twins would have beaten the Red Sox in a first round series. I have no doubts about that.

well in terms of the price it seems to me that its overpriced for the yankees - hence giving the angles no respect

i was judging soley on that. Yanks did have the 1st best offense and the best record but the angels have the 2nd best offense and record so its close. The line seems high to me

No, I think the price was almost right at the opening number, somewhere up around -220. The overreaction to the Angels walkover of a dead Red Sox team has brought the line down as low as -165. I see value on the Yankees at anything less than -180.
