And I'm going to the Cardinals game today. So it's kind of a double whammy. Pujols better play or I will be pissed.
Cardinals -130
Risking 2.6 units to win 2 units
Better pitcher, better team, might as well give myself something to cheer for while I'm there.
Red Sox +120
Risking 3 units to win 3.6 units
Price has not thrown back to back quality starts all season. The Red Sox are a team who I'm sure he doesn't want to face with that lineup. He's a better home pitcher than road pitcher, but usually only during the day is he good. He is awful at night. So he shut down the Royals in his last start...woopie. They are not the Red Sox. I know the Sox have trouble at the Trop often, but they should be able to handle Price. Penny is coming off his 2nd worst performance of the season where he allowed 7 runs to the Athletics in 5 innings. Good news for him...he is great bounce back material. 5 other times this season he has given up 4 or more runs, and in the following start, he has an ERA of 2.67. He's in that spot right here, and I think he'll pitch really well. And just a side note, in 4 of those 5 bounce back starts, he faced an AL East opponent. He actually faced all 4 AL East opponents in bounce backs and shut out the Yankees and Orioles in 2 of those. And the Sox are 4-1 in those starts for Penny. The only problem...his lone loss came against these Rays. That shouldn't worry you that much, it doesn't worry me.
Marlins/Nationals Over 8.5 +110
Risking 3 units to win 3.3 units
This series just loves overs...especially late inning heroics to produce those overs. The scary thing is that before Tuesday's game, the Marlins were 9-0 against them this season. But these games always find a way to get over. They proved that last night with a 6 run 8th. 1 game they scored 7 runs in the last 2 innings. Another game they scored 3 runs in the 9th to get the over. Before that there was 3 runs scored in the last 3 innigns to get the over, and before that...3 runs in the last 2 innings to get the over. So starting pitching is meaningless in this series. It's the bullpen that means everything. Now I'm going to throw a test out there since I'm in the middle of my 3rd post. Please post a wink emotic before you write your good luck or whatever you right. I'm curious to see how many people actually read my writeups, or just post good luck. The Nationals have played to 8 overs in their last 10 games while the Marlins are 4-2 on the over in their last 6 games. The Nats are hitting really well in their past week and the Marlins haven't been bad either. Lannan is tough at home, but the Marlins may score 2-3 on him and the bullpen should give up the rest. I also see Vandenhurk getting smacked. Just a feeling I have with the way the Nats have been hitting.
Angels/Chi.Sox Over 9.5 -120 (POD)
Risking 6 units to win 5 units
Keep it coming. A push last night but thats fine. The Over is 22-3-1 in their last 25 games. The Over is 13-0-1 in the Angels' last 14 games. The Angels have pushed or scored more than the total 12 times in their 25 game span. Floyd is very impressive at home. That does scare me a bit...but I'm riding this streak as long as I can. Even after a loss. Until the under hits 3 times in a row, I'll be on the over in every single Angels' game. This is an under series and everything really points towards the under but I'm raking the over. Sorry I can't convince you anymore but the stats I started off with are the most important part of the play.
BOL All. Have A Great Day.

Brady No thoughts at all. The Mets' bats are as inconsistant as can be. And now Castillo sprained his ankle walking down the dugout steps. It can't get any worse for them can it? They lose about 5/9 of their lineup, their setup man, 2/5 of their rotation, and K-Rod blew the save tonight. You have to feel for that team. I really wouldn't have even bet on the Cards if I wasn't going to be honest with you. I just need something to keep me content. The tickets are free...I really don't care to go either. Just going to see the stadium for the first time and enjoy the game.
bluesplayer Thanks bro.

Crowkillers That 9 is an awsome line...if I find that, I'll add more to it. That 4-4 tie is the best you can get in that situation.
chicawowwow Thanks bro. Tough push, but at least it wasn't a pressure cooker. It hit 4-4 and at that point we were just looking for 2 more at that point. But a push is nothing to be ashamed of.
