He's staying put...no way he'll go anywhere. The Yanks won't give up who they want. The Sox have moved on. The Phillies signed Lee. The Tigers got Washburn. The Brewers won't give up the guys. The Dodgers and Angels are left and I don't see them giving up who the Jays want.

It just seems that way doesn't it? Just like Tex. But it won't happen. The Jays want the Yankees' top 4 prospects, or at least the top 3(Hughes, Joba and Jackson), and #4(Monetero) or #5(Romine). It's not worth the hastle. But they NEED a starter. The thing with Cashman though is that he knows this is the non-waiver trade deadline, and has stated that he can make deals after this deadline and he's not worried.

Halladay is going nowhere. the Jays want an absurd package for him and I don't blame them considering how much hype Halladay has gotten thanks to ESPN and the team that would land him gets him for next season too.

Halladay will be moved next season I will all but guarantee that.

Give him to Dodgers. If I was Torre, I would give Kershaw for Roy. He`s the best and with Manny World Series will be ours....But of course it`s only a dream...Joe Torre will not give Clayton for Doc

Why is everyone willing to give up a stud prospect for Roy Halladay? Clayton Kershaw is a stud. Kershaw and Billingsley combined with the bullpen along with the young hitting would give the Dodgers plenty of penant runs the next 10 years. If you give away Kershaw for Halladay you're getting an aging pitcher with a ton of mileage on his arm. How long is Halladay going to stay as an elite pitcher? I think Kershaw's age and upside is far too valuable to trade for a pitcher with 2 maybe 3 good years left.

Dodgers, Angels and Rangers are the only teams I see that have a realistic shot at getting Doc.

Bosox would be next on the list and the Yankees are the least likely to land him because the will not give up Hughes + Jackson, Montero, + low level/high upside arm. The Bosox have more quality prospects and talent that they can part with but I don't see a deal getting done.

Yes, I know  that Halladay have only 2 or 3 years left, but is a high quality pitcher. You don`t have to wait to him to become a good pitcher in the future, because he obviously already IS. So, I say - give Jays Kershaw. You`ll find another young talant form Minors, but will you ever have a pitcher like Doc? Probably not. Halladay is a man who can take Dodgers to the World Series, not Kershaw. I prefer to think in short period of time, not in the future...

You're not waiting for Kershaw to be a good pitcher, he is good now. He is only going to get better and he is a lefty too. Also you don't know what kind of playoff pitcher Halladay is either, what if the guy is a flop in the playoffs I.E. Peavy I think Santana might be pretty average in the playoffs if i'f im not mistaken. Just because you're good in the reg seaosn doesn't mean you're good in the playoffs. I am just extremely high on this 1-2 punch you guys have and the young hitting as well, the Dodgers have a ton going for them for the next 10 years why mess with it? Take it from someone who saw Jair Jurrjens get traded for edgar Renteria lol

Yes. Maybe you`re right - Billingsley and Kershaw are not bad pitchers at all...although I wanted a superstar  

I hope they (with Randy Wolf and Kuroda) will be good enough in playoffs. And about batting, I don`t worry at all. With guys like Andre, Orlando, James, Matt and (of course) Manny - there`s nothing to worry about. By the way, you have got Washburn - very good aquisition. With Verlander and Jackson you have now very good not 1-2, but 1-2-3 . You`re a Tigers fan, right?

Rangers deal dead. Wanted Smoak and Holland along with more prospects. Ranger want to keep Holland who is only lefty and if you saw the game last night you know why.
