It is a mixed bag. I cannot wait for outside baseball. Day game baseball in the sun. That being said, the Twins have a real advantage in the metrodome. They are the best of beating the ball off the hard turf and getting infield singles. They are the best of hitting the ball into the white dome surfaces (especially in days games when the sun makes it blend in more). They are the best at cutting the corners on the bags and using the fast turf to their benefit. They probably win five or so games a year because road teams have a hard time adjusting to this metrodome and one critical mistake is made on their part. Those five games can and have decided who wins the division.
So in summary I am really torn. BOL!
