Is there any reason i should not take BOS -1.5 at +130?

They haven't been hitting well and Penny is pitching.

Two reasons.

There's a reason why a "sure win" is being booked @ +130 RL - think about it.

Paps is shaky this year and Penny is pretty damn bad. Add the fact that the Boston bats have been quiet and I really feel like you shouldn't go chasing after this one. ML or Totals - no RL.

Or try the other side and snag BAL at +1.5. That actually seems decent.

another reason is bergesen held the sox to 1 run over 8 innings a few weeks ago when their bats werent cold.  Personally though i just think the sox are due and penny gets good run support at home.

Bergesen is damn near decent... I actually like the under in this game... a lot of public action on the over... and I think both pitchers will actually show up tonight...

I"m on it FadeOnly...Friday night in Boston, Francona is watching the Yankees take off, I"m sure there'll be a pregame talk here...I definitely not a Penny fan either, but I call him even to Bergensen...now look at the lineups, which one is better? Now look at how the Orioles have fared in their division...I'll see you at the window my man... good luck which ever way you went..

This guy needs ~ "The pitchers have the same record" dont mean $#@! and of course u pick the team with the better team, most of the time. Pitchers play diff teams at diff times, diff situation, so if ur going to compare pitchers when making picks, check what hand they are, how they play at home or on road, just look into their history not just their records themselves. So before u start calling people fools, take good long look in the mirrir BOY.

I was leaning on Boston as well... just said the Under was the best play... and rather than sweating out a 3-1 RL win... it was much easier to sit back and watch the game come in 6 runs under the posted total... hope u had a good night other than this gm...
