If you were Vegas; what props would would you set for the game?  By this I mean runs by innings, not players and under over for the game and your prediction of the line for the game.   Thanks.

AL is -115 and the NL is -105 Over Under is 9.5 at least that is what I have.

I would come up with this: Tim Lincecum total strikeouts:Over 3.5  &#x2B;115Under 3.5 -125

Lincecum is only going to play two innings.  He would have to strike out 4 of 6 batters for this to go over.  I would absolutely take the under as it would be HIGHLY unlikely that he would strike out 4 of 6 all-star batters despite how good he is.

Not really. The Over hasn&#x27;t hit since 2005. Last 3 years the total was 7 - 9 - 5

Also, even if he went 3 he averages less than 10 ks per game which means that he averages around 1 k per inning.  Which means he would still have to k 4 out of 9 outs through 3 innings.  That is still a lot with an all-star lineup.  BOL!

Jes, Typically you are correct. However the theme was set lines for props. Your stats are factual. I do believe he will go three. He will be so pumped that whatever the line is for his S/O I believe he dominates. So, if its 3.5 (suggested) I'm over. However you make a valid point, probably two.

[/Quote]I just made this up, obviously it would be a solid under bet if we knew he would only go two, crazy thing about Linecum is he could easily strikeout 4-6 in two innings also. Most of these AL hitters havent seen the likes of his filth, and another thing to keep in mind is Charlie Manuel desperately wants this game, as in his mind his Phillies are still the team to beat in the National League.

I wouldn&#x27;t be surprised if he struck out 5 of 6, but I would be surprised if he went out for a third. Charlie wants to win, but I&#x27;m sure he&#x27;d feel just as confident putting Haren, Santana or Johnson out there as well. NL has an abundance of great pitchers going for them this year. Just nasty.

Cover and the bay, valid points , Linceum will have plenty of time to showcase and maybe Charlie gets Mr. Holliday because I believe he will be traded . Maybe not to Philly but Charlie wants to win. Good ball club that needs one more arm.Going to be fun to watch.

Interesting, J.P. offered S.F. Rious (spelling) for Linceum or Cain when they were no names and S.F declined.Good move, and yes the bay it does suck that Cain is out. He is the the real deal. If I can get a line on S/O's on Tim at 3 thats my play . OVER. And I'll go way back and agree with Crow and say UNDER 9.5. Good luck boys

When Utley was first coming up, the Pirates asked for him in return if the Phils were to acquire Kris Benson at the deadline. Imagine that.
