Yesterday's mistake was not making a play on the Angels, otherwise I'm up again. If you're wondering what my new PQS system is, click here. I'm somewhat lucky since I passed out on the couch & missed most of the losses last night. Sticking to my guns through the rotation liek I said I would with some minor changes lurking for the system come Monday.
7:05pm: Atlanta Braves ML (+162) for 1 unit
Jo-Jo Reyes scored a 2.67 to Cole Hamels' 0.75, but Reyes' career 6.94 ERA & .323 Opposing Average against Philly makes me not want to play it. However, with odds these high, I'm dropping it a unit & making a play.
7:05pm: New York Yankees -1.5 (-106) for 1 unit
CC Sabathia scored a 3.50 to Jeremy Guthrie's 2.50. Sabathia is 5-1 against the Orioles with a 3.01 ERA & .219 Opposing Average.
8:05pm: San Diego/Houston **NO PLAY**
Wandy Rodriguez scored a 4.17 to Chad Gaudin's 2.50. But Wandy's career 8.10 ERA & .300 Opposing Average against the Padres makes this a no play.
10:05pm: Toronto Blue Jays ML (-108) for 3 units
Scott Richmond scored a 4 to Josh Outman's 1.67. I want to keep riding the Richmond train too. Ten career outings, still yet to give up more than 3 earned runs. Outman's lone outing against the Blue Jays went four innings, allowing five runs, three earned on five hits & four walks. That outing was on April 17th.
10:10pm: Los Angeles Dodgers ***NO PLAY***
Chad Billingsley scored a 4.50 to Barry Zito's 1.50. However, Zito has been solid enough this season & the chalk is way too high for me so I'm passing here too.
