#427 Posted: 5/6/2009 11:51:07 PM Nuckin Futs...Loney hits slow roller, Zimmerman makes a stellar play to end the inning, leaving em juiced.
Please send out Cabrera for the 6th Joe |

#428 Posted: 5/6/2009 11:58:15 PM So does anyone know if the Baltimore game is official? CBSsportsline still shows delay with Minny batting top 6th, a runner on first with two outs.
So let's cheer for another Dodgers run soon and Arizona to play defense.

#431 Posted: 5/7/2009 12:15:13 AM Told you we wanted Cabrera out for the 6th
Martin ripped a hanger, Kemp lined out to centre. He walked Blake then out comes Pierrre to hit for Kershaw. Torre pulls him back to go righty, righty with Loretta instead. Why???
My guess is he thought Loretta had a better chance of drawing a walk then Pierre, who's more of a free swinger. Loretta walks on 4 pitches never taking the bat off his shoulder. Torre for Coach of the year.
Cabrera out, lefty in to turn around Furcal. Rope to left, Martin cashes. O-dog works the count full, AND HINKLEY NEARLY THROWS THE BALL OVER THE BACKSTOP!!!!!!!

#447 Posted: 5/7/2009 12:47:43 AM Winning run to the plate for the second time the inning for Padres. Finally third out!!! WINNER WINNER for the DBACKS!!!
Why is it that more and more "closers" fail to get the job done? It never seems to amaze me why managers substitute pitchers for players that cannot seem to get outs when called upon OR at the very least cause every bettor out there to bite his nails???
