There's nothing new under the sun with respect to sportsbetting. Yes. and there are many teams that are serioulsly on the "Take" and do REALLY stupid things at the end of ball games which gobble your money up at the end of the game.
I've been handicapping baseball for many years and I thought I'd publish my list of teams that are on the take and to certainly stay away from unless they're in dire need for a win and have been exposed recently.
New York Yankees.
Oakland A's
Philidelphia
Chicago White Sox
Detroit Tigers
New York Mets
And I'm sure I can add more to this list. Let's not even go there with Football or NBA basketball. We've already seen the tip of the iceburg. Some of your handicappers that are on the websites around the world are in on it as well so be careful of their plays of the year.
The bigger the game the more everyone is involved. Refs, management etc.
Knowing this fact, stay away from these teams only after they've lost 3 in a row. They'll soon get pride and attempt to win big. Notice on my list that New York Yankees are first. The highest paid baseball team on the planet and they go 3-7 over the past 10 games and nearly lose again to the lowly KC Royals? Did you know that KC beats them every year? They swept them last year in Kansas City. Guys this is arguably the best hitting team in baseball. Besides beating the them in Yankee stadium is nearly impossible. Unless your team is the Boston Red Sox. They're also located in the most crime ridden place on the planet. and like most good cappers they'll just stay away.
I do understand that the vegas line makers do not care about which side your money is on. They get paid either way they just want it as close to 50% as possible so that they're pay day is better. But remember, it's bigger than this.
Example: Octavio Dotel. Knowing what we know about this tragedy of a baseball ball pitcher, what reason would your team ever do hiring this idiot if you don't have plans of throwing a game? This guy should have been kicked out of the league years ago. But he hangs around to throw games because he's so bad. If any of you had Chicago on Saturday Night you were certainly dissapointed with Chicago's decision to put this idiot in the game.
There are several examples of the teams above which has been noted to throw games. Note that the Whitesox players did it years ago to earn extra cash from bookies, management themselves etc. Today where cash is king in this industry, it happens everyday. This topic can go on forever. Feel free to chime in.
With that said, The Yankees at home will probably win and win big today. but yet again, who gives a rats ass about winning or losing if it isn't an honest effort.
With this in mind here are my picks for the day:
Chicago Cubs
Twins
Boston
Tampa Bay
Again, staying one step ahead of the game and away from frustration is just not playing these teams unless they are at home and have lost more than two games to bad teams.
BOL to all.
Now let's win some Freakin' Cash today!
