Once again we have both series in the same situation. Home teams up 2-1.

So here is history for both of them. Home teams do not do very well in this situation.  Only 46.3% of the time the home team wins here. So the Ducks getting back around +121 is an excellent choice here.

For the Pens laying around -123 that is pretty much a tossup.

So history says take the Ducks

I appreciate the history, but I can not in good conscience bet against Nashville at home here. I never give home ice advantage, but Nash is nuts and I think it's tough for anyone to play in that environment. I may take the fifth here and wait for a better spot to hit Nash again. Although -135 looks like a bargain here! History is history, but I think destiny makes sense too? Are you playing this game? You are like an encyclopedia of hockey so I will tail you here maybe?

I will be playing the Ducks.  It's not like they were blown out the last game.  It really could of went either way.

They were not blown out on the score sheet, but Nash dominated the game and overcame a 1 goal defecit to win 2-1. How long can Gibson hold the fort? I would rather be on the pecker to steal the show. I dunno here, but I'm leaning taking -135. I took -150 last game and this seems like a bargain to me? You are very wise! Probly the smartest, most disciplined gambler I ever seen! I would be scared of your action! Convince me?

Thanks for the comment.  I just put the stats out there, you mold them to however you like.

Don't forget though, there is a reason the books knocked the line to -135 tonight.

scoring chances were 28-11 in game 3. Anaheim is going to need to figure out a way to start controlling more of the possession and generating more chances. Nashville did have to come back but they definitely dominated that game and it was almost predictable they were going to win that game.
having said that, still agree with lipps that there is potentially some value on the ducks here..

Thanks for the stats Lipps. I really appreciate your history section. I don't recall you posting it other years! It's good data and saves me looking up garbage! I wish you would just tell me the winning play tho! It would make my life easier! Lol! Thanks for all the work you do. I took Nash even against your advice. Shame on me!

Well it looks like the Preds made a very late stop to history for the time being.

Actually been approached about that before. Info has been contributed to a number of places though.

Just might not say Lippsman.

Where the line has moved toward the Sens the Pens are a slight, very slight play now according to numbers.

But personally I would still stay away from this game. You don't have to listen to me, but ya know.....

This is a perfect game to lay off of, seems like the books are begging for Pittsburgh money at only -113.
