Blues: What the blues did the other night is what I call dominant play by a powerhouse team. As soon as the Stats scored a few mi it's in the Blues put a strangle hold on the Stars. Goes back to what I said the other day, I do not agree with the two goalie system Dallas is using in the playoffs. It's a different beast mentally wise in the regular season but in the playoffs the #1 guy needs to know he's the #1 guy. Right now both Niemi and Lehtonen are full of nerves and that is not where you want to be mentally in Game 4. Not sure who's in net yet but it doesn't matter, Blues take care of business on home ice again. I except a much tighter game from Dallas. I tend to not like taking the same team that dominated just a game ago but these are not your Blues from the past. They will take a 3-1 series lead tonight. Steen, Backes, Taransenko and Elliott did what the core players of a team are supposed to do in the playoffs and that's step up when it matters most.
Preds: Not going to lie, the other day I said to myself Preds Game 3 and Sharks Game 4. Still feel this way as I write this but this time Nashville will win both its games on home ice. The recently fired Bruce Boudreau said the other night Nashville is the loudest and toughest arena to play in. I've been to a game there once and it's loud in the regular season for a non hockey market. But the loudest & toughest? That says a lot coming from him and it's hard for me to put my money on the better team and one of the best road teams. Preds won't win by a few goals again I don't think but they will get the W in smashville tonight.

I'd say 70%. Makes me nervous that Sharks always strike first but Preds answered back in a good way last game. I do not like that they have only won one home playoff game this year. Makes me nervous Sharks play better on the road and just look really damn good. But, Preds know if they don't put 110%, effort into this they will be going to the shark tank down 3-1 and series over. They need to play like they did the first two games in Anaheim and the game the other night. Gotta stay out of the sin bin as well, sharks PP is no joke. I'm going with how they played the other night, crazy home crowd and not wanting to go down 3-1 heading into San Jose as my reason for this pick but they must play like they did the other night.

Highly doubt Nashville's Bridgestone is louder than the Blackhawks United Center. It wasn't too long ago they had the rules of Hockey on welcoming fliers on the seats before the Preds took the ice.

Just going by what I heard on NHL Live by one of the analysts after they interviewed Boudreau. I'm sure united center is crazy, just writing what I heard. Ducks didn't go into the United center for the playoffs so this could just be this playoff season. Sharks have a great chance at winning tonight good luck with your pick. I'll be ok Sharks Game 5.

YTD: 34-21 1-1 on the night. blues lost and Preds won. Both went into OT so could have easily rolled the other way in either game. What a game between sharks and Preds, best game I've seen so far in the playoffs.
